What would have happened if Tobias never left abnegation.
Starts the day after Tobias choosing ceremony.
Tobias pov
A blue swirl of glassy waves is the first thing I notice when I wake up to my father calling me down stairs. The glass statute sits on my desk slightly sparkling from the golden sun peeking through the blides of my abnegation room. "Tobias come down here before I have to come up there" my father roars, his mighty voice makes me shiver as I tuck my mother's old statue under my pillow. I slip on my grey tunic and follow Marcus's order and dash downstairs to find a plate of toast waiting on the table for me. My father's face hides behind the newspaper. "Good morning father" I mumble " should I go back to my room it's seems that your busy and my presence might disturb you"
Slowly my father sets the paper down and stands up abruptly causing me to choke on my toast " That's enough of you , first you you make me wait for you to dawdle downstairs and now your talking to me like your in charge of me" my father screamed his big voice making me feel like a child that can't defend for him self "sorry father it won't happen again " I whisper looking down at my feet avoiding his ashamed glare." No not good enough no son of mine will treat me like this" Marcus carefully takes his dark leather belt off and looks me coldly in the eyes "this is for your own good" his voice booms as the worn out belt meets my back, burning my skin ,sending pain everywhere. It was the eighth time this week he beat me first it was because I locked my bedroom door and the times after that were either me disrespecting him or the fact that I thought about leaving my faction.
