"KAYLA ANN CARTER!? YoUnG lAdY, WhAt Is ThIs!?" My mother comes charging down the stairs, yelling, with a furious expression upon her face. I noticed she had something in her hand.

Oh S***! I just realized what she was holding... she was holding my diary, and a note I once wrote when I was a kid. It was before I started hating him. It was at the point when I really liked him. And my diary, well... it has everything I talk about Cole, the good things, the bad things, the hot things he does, the cute things, and the things he does that pisses me off.

"DID YOU GO IN MY ROOM!?" I exclaim back, because at this point, I'm infuriated that she went in my room, and invaded my privacy.

"I ASKED YOU A QUESTION FIRST! BUT YES, YES I DID. NOW ANSWER MY QUESTION YOUNG LADY! EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT THE HELL THESE PAPERS ARE!? Mother yells back, she was so mad I could see her vein popping out on the side of her head.

"OH MY GAWD MOM! SHUT UP! STAY OUT OF MY ROOM, YOU'RE INVADING MY PRIVACY! WE TALKED ABOUT THIS BEFORE! AND LEAVE MY STUFF ALONE YOU. YOU. YOU ROOM CREEPER!" I yelled back in the same tone she did to me, and I ripped my diary and note out of her hands.

I ran to my room in a hurry, put my diary away along with the paper. I opened my closet to find a comfy sweatshirt, grabbed my phone and wallet, ran out of my room downstairs and outside.

I got into my car, backed out of the driveway, and drove away. I have a red Chevy Malibu, I got it for my sweet sixteen. That was 8 months ago.

I had to get away, my mom is just too stressful, she makes me so mad sometimes. Everytime we get into a fight, and I need to get away to relax, I have one spot I always drive to. This place, well it makes me feel free, the view is astonishing, and the sound around is so relaxing, sometimes I even go out late at night just to look at the stars.

As I pull up and come to a stop before the end of the cliff, I grab my sweatshirt, leave my phone and wallet in the car. I got out and sat on the hood of my car, and just stared at the amazing view of Los Angeles. My getaway spot is right near the Hollywood sign, looking off the cliff and the view of the city is amazing.

Chloe and Izzy are the only ones who know I come up here, if I'm not home at night, they know I am most likely in my getaway spot.

It was about 35 mins later, I had forgotten I had left my phone in the car. I didn't hear it ringing, someone was calling me, but I didn't realize.

Around 8 minutes later, I hear another car slowly driving toward me. I figured it was Chloe or Izzy, but I didn't bother to look because the sun was setting, and it was a gorgeous view to see.

The sound of a car door shuts, the sound of crunching rocks and dangling keychains slowly approaches me, then comes to a stop.

Suddenly, my car weighs down a little, whoever was with me, was sitting right next to me.

"It sure is an amazing view." a familiar voice says from beside me.
