Bucky's POV:

I wake up to a scent of bacon and decide to take a quick shower before breakfast.

"Morning, love." I greet Y/n as I give her a peck on the cheek.

She looked over to greet me as well.

"Good morning, James." She says sweetly, with a smile.

I giggle at the fact that she used my real name, which is also technically my mission name.

"I like your sweater vest." She laughs, adjusting my shirt.

"Thank you." I say, taking a piece of bacon off the pan.

"HEY!" She yells.

"Wait until I'm finished cooking." Y/n scolds.

After I got a good slap on the wrist from Y/n the door bell rings.

"COMING!" I call out. I open the door to see Danielle Smith holding a bottle of wine.

"I'm so sorry I couldn't give you this yesterday, I thought it would be best if we'd let you settle in first." She says with a smile.

Y/n walks over and stands next to me. I put my hand on her lower back and let her talk.

"Oh, it's completely fine!" She says happily taking the bottle of wine.

When Y/n takes the wine Danielle's husband August pops out from what seems out of nowhere, with a bottle of vodka.

"Just incase you want something a little stronger." He laughs.

"Thank you." I mumble, to keep my shy persona.

"Oh, didn't know you talked!" Danielle chuckles. I give her an uncomfortable smile and take the bottle of wine in Y/n's hand so I could go put them away.

I walk over to see the bacon beginning to burn. "OH f*ck." I say quietly.

I see Y/n peek behind the door.

"Is everything alright?" She asks.

"Yeah, don't worry about it." I reassure her.

"You guys should join us for dinner tonight!" Danielle cheers.

"Yeah! That sounds great!" y/n agrees. "I'll see you two tonight then!" August waves.

Y/n closes the door and walks over to me.

"Such nice people, too bad I'm not a drinker." she says sarcastically. "

The bacon is kinda burnt." I laugh. "It's alright." she giggles standing on her tippy toes to look over my shoulder.

We sit down and start eating the bacon, eggs and waffles Y/n made.

"I never got to say that you looked good today." I observe.
