It's almost 4 in the afternoon when they have reached the Resthouse in Beoryeong, a City in South Chungcheong. The Park's family agreed to spend their Break in the province commonly known as Daecheon because of its western beach.
Her parents own a resthouse for almost 3 years now. Since it 2 hours long drive from Seoul, they rarely visit the place, and it's just their 6th time to get there.
Roseanne helps her parents and sister to transfer all their belongings from the car to the house. Once she was inside, she looked around. The structure is a Modern-Mediterranean architecture inspired with a big door and window openings, in the outside, it has clay roof tiles to ensure the quality and longevity of the house since it was located in a coastal area that is prone to wind, salt of the sea, heat from the sun, and storm.
When her parents bought the property, she gave her artistic ideas for the renovation on how she wanted it to become and her parents approved it right away. At an early age, she knows what she wants for her future. She wanted to be an Architect, to make plans and designs of a house or any other type of building to create spaces that are safe, efficient, sustainable, and most importantly where she can give comfort to the owner or users. She promised herself to study hard, for her to achieve that dream.
After a few minutes, both Roseanne and Alice went upstairs to place their bags in each other's room and left their parents in the kitchen. But the couple was surprised when their youngest daughter speaks behind them.
"Mom, Dad can I go to the beach by myself? I want to go for a walk." Roseanne asked as she looked back and forth to her parents.
Her Dad stops unpacking the grocery bags that they purchased that morning. "Where's Alice?" He asked.
"Alice decided to stay in her room and rest, so I'll go by myself." Roseanne's answer.
"Why don't you take a rest first before going to the beach as Alice did?" Her Mom as she places the grocery in the cupboard.
The siblings were both born in the City, that's why Roseanne is very excited and anticipated to see the perfect beach sunset for its dazzling colors.
"I love this place Mom and I have the desire to see the sunset from the beach." She reasons.
Her Dad let out a sigh before he looks at her. "Okay, just be careful on your way back, our dinner starts at 7 pm." Her Dad reminds her.
"I will don't worry Dad, Mom I'll be back before dinner." Roseanne kiss her parents before she left the house.
"Take care, Rosie!" She heard her Mom's scream from the main door.
"Thanks, Mom." She replied.
On her way to the beach, she was always mesmerized by the beauty in front of her. Their resthouse is surrounded by its natural landscape, with clusters of different heights of trees and some colorful flowers and shrubs along the curved path going to the beach that add character to the place.
She reached the shoreline after 5 minutes of walking from their house. The place is famous for its beautiful sandy white beach and its crystal clear waters. On the right part, the beach has a wide and open seashore where different resorts and hotel structures are operating and offering good services to the local and foreign tourists.
On her left side of the area, is an undeveloped part of the beach where a private family owns the left side according to their caretaker. Also, there's a beautiful little forest that happens to be there and has some great views of the area.
