The sisters bid goodbyes again to each other in the lobby of Roseanne's apartment building, she went to her boyfriend who is waiting patiently beside his car, and opens the door for her once she was near.
The ride heading to the party was a little bit of a mess, they are stuck in light traffic since it's the weekend. Most people have dates with family and friends, giving each other time to stroll within the Metro of Seoul after long weekdays consumed in work and school.
Roseanne stops watching the people outside and diverts her attention to Jungkook who is busy checking the traffic ahead of them.
The blonde opens the radio to lessen the silence inside the car. Music gives her more peace by listening to it.
She rests her head and closes her eyes. This is the first time after so many years she's going to meet most of her friends from high school. Park Sooyoung or Joy is the only friend who remains in contact with her.
Honestly, she was thrilled to see and have a chat with her friends and eventually continue the friendship they have if things turn fine between them.
Despite having a good feeling for the approaching event in a few minutes, part of herself was nervous and worried. It's not perfectly normal for Roseanne to have this kind of emotion.
She remembers a tall, lanky nerd girl with short hair who keeps on wooing her, giving her full attention, giving snacks and flowers every day. A girl with a small face, a genuine smile that is free for everyone, she has big brown eyes, and long eyelashes hidden behind her wire-rimmed glasses. She had remarkable beauty and a striking personality.
Everything has changed when she saw the girl how emotionally vulnerable and hurt she was that night, the night she saw Lisa for the last time.
The next thing she knew, Jungkook taps her shoulder for the reason that they reached the event's place without her knowing.
Before the couple stepped out of the car, they both fixed themselves separately. Once Roseanne is done, she checks her boyfriend who is struggling to fix his tie.
"Come here, I'll fix it for you." She offers.
The guy turns to the blonde and gave her a gentle smile. He always looked nice in whatever clothes he wears. Once they were done, the couple stepped out of the car.
The couple went inside to the elegant lobby of a 5-star hotel in Seoul, Rosé linking her hand on Jungkook's forearm. The hotel staff leads them to the hall where the party is placed and from the door, she quickly spotted Joy and their other friends near the stage.
They were seated at an eight-seaters round table with an elegant white fabric material. The hotel staff prepared a clear base, designed it with a beautiful bouquet placed in the center of every table. A bottle of wine on an ice bucket is carefully resting near the vase.
The group reminisces their old days, especially when Roseanne and Jungkook arrive together. Jennie couldn't help herself to speak and pour out her wrath to Jungkook then all of the sudden, Nayeon gasped in her seat, her big eyes staring past her.
Lisa?!" Nayeon says who's now taken by surprise once she saw the tall woman approaching their table.
Roseanne gets chills upon hearing the woman's name. Her heart rate is continuously rising every second because of surprise and nervousness.
