You're in my world now
Not your world
And I got friends on the other side!

From the moment you opened your eyes, you knew something was wrong.
The floor you were laying on wasn't the soft, padded mats of the dojo. But instead the cold and stiff cement. The gentle glow of lanterns were replaced by neon streaks of colour, burning your eyes once you open them. The walls filled with weapons were gone, the moon and night sky being the ones to greet you.
But most importantly, you couldn't sense the comforting lavender presence of your mentor anywhere. That fact alone makes your heart constrict in fear.
You clench your fists, every muscle in your body aching. "Sixer?..." You say in a groan, hoping that he'll reply.
No one but the wind answers to your call.
Something was terribly, terribly wrong.
You grit your teeth as you will yourself to move, shakily standing up. It was like waking up from cryosleep, your limbs and brain frozen for years and have just started to thaw. Your metal wrist guards feel freezing against your skin. Metaphorical ice still nipping at your fingers, you stand up, grumbling as you did so.
"What in the-" You whisper, blobs of colour invading your vision. "Where am I?"
You sway in place, various sounds slowly seeping into your cotton filled brain, when you accidentally stumble forward.
"Crap-!"
You hurriedly catch yourself on the railings of the roof you appeared on. Spirals in your eyes, your mind throbs at the sudden movement. Cursing under your breath and massaging your temples, you tentatively open your eyes to see what was below.
You were not prepared for the sight you saw.
Your eyes widen, a gasp and a soft "what?" leaving your lips soon after.
Dozens of people roam the streets, despite it being past midnight. Their chatter mixes with the sounds of cars and motorcycles passing by, your ear twitching at the loud sounds. Tall buildings are lumped together, similar to the one you were on, with a few windows being lit up.
It was beautiful, yes. But it was also terrifying, as it made you realize something:
This isn't my city.
Your jaw drops as you survey your new surroundings, hands desperately gripping onto the railing to ground yourself.
"Oh, you have got to be kidding me."

A few hours prior, everything started out normal. You were training with your mentor, like always. And were frantically dodging the quick punches he threw, like always. The sun beat down above you mercilessly, much like how your mentor was with his combat.
"Hm. Not bad," He says after a particularly brutal training session. "But not good either. C'mon, are you really giving your all here?"
You pant, giving your mentor a nasty glare from where you lay. "I would, if you actually let me use the shadows for once."
"The whole point of this exercise is that you're not supposed to use the shadows." He sighs, like he explained this a thousand times before. And to be fair, he has.
