Chapter Seven
They say she won't make it.
They say she was hit to hard.
They say something that I don't care to understand, something that I don't want to understand.
So I don't.
Instead,
I sit down...
I take her hand...
and I beat my heart till it hurts, so that maybe my heart will start her own.
