Frederick entered the small house; his mother was in the kitchen smoking a cigarette by the window.

"Mom? Are you okay?" Frederick question worried about his mother he put a hand over her shoulder. His mother flinched, she turned to look at him.

"Oh, honey I didn't hear you." She said in her sweet voice and hugged him.

"Where is Lukas?" He asked making sure that his mother's new boyfriend wasn't home. He hated this man with a passion, he didn't approve of him. Lukas keeps acting like if he were Frederick's dad, which he wasn't and would never be.

"He's working tonight, how was your day?" She asked, "Good, I am tired, I'm heading to bed.'' He said walking to his room.

He sat on his bed; he looked at the picture that was standing on the nightstand. He smiled sadly, "Goodnight dad." Then he drifts up to dreamland holding the picture of his father on his chest.

The next morning Lisa woke up early to call Frederick, they were going to meet around midnight at the bench in the park near the high school. Frederick was going to bring his friend Eric. She was sure that she had seen something in that creepy house and was about to find out what it was. Around 11:55 pm she was in front of Rebekah's house waiting for her. Rebekah had decided to come with them.

"Sorry for the wait". Rebekah walked past Lisa who was sitting on the stairs of the porch.

"It's fine no big deal." Lisa smiled at Rebekah.

The two girls started walking. The Park was five minutes from the house. They arrived in the park, it was dark both only had one flashlight. Lisa saw to figure in the darkness around the bench facing the street. She recognized the tall figure and the smaller one being Fred and his friend.

"BOO!" the boys screamed making Rebekah screamed in terror, "You guys are real idiots, come on let's go.
