The girls were laughing and talking about their summer so far. They arrived at the beach there wasn't a large crowd. The seagulls were flying around the beach, and they could hear their cooing in the background, as well as the calming sound of the waves.

"I love this time of day; the sun is bright and there aren't a lot of people," Lisa explained sitting down on the sand taking off her sandals. Rebekah nodded sitting beside Lisa taking off her dress showing her red one-piece bathing suit. They watched a group of teenage boys playing volleyball. One of the boys, Frederick Clearwater, waved at them.

"Who's that?" asked Rebekah seeing the exchange between the bleach blond hair boy and Lisa. Lisa furrowed her brow.

"Pff no one, it's just Frederick Clearwater a Neighbor of mine," Lisa said looking away for the boy group. "He's cute!" exclaimed Rebekah, "He's annoying, that what he is!" Lisa replied, taking off her clothes to show her turquoise bikini.

"Wanna go swim?" Lisa asked while standing up from the ground.

The water was frigid to the touch but was refreshing for this sunny summer day. The girls were in the water talking and playing games for about an hour. They walked out of the water to go tan on the sand. Someone hit Lisa on the back of the head. The redheaded girl turned to face whoever threw the volleyball.

"Sorry, darling didn't see you there," exclaimed Frederick with his signature grin.

Lisa glared at Frederick, as if she could kill with a stare, Frederick wouldn't have survived. The group of boys was watching the scene unrolled in front of their eyes. Lisa and Frederick's friendship were like Tom and Jerry's.

"Don't call me "darling" you monkey face." Lisa was satisfied seeing Frederick's smirk fall. He rolled his eyes "I'm sorry darling." Before Frederick took the volleyball in front of Lisa's feet, he looked up, sending a wink. "See you tonight, Darling." He walked away.
