Everyone at the table turned to the voice. A wide, toothy grin spread on Clay's face as he gasped, realizing who the person was. "Hey, dick hair."

Daryan glared at him. "Fuck this, I'm going to douchebag and the other two idiots." He readjusted his bag and turned to walk off.

"Aw, c'mon. What's wrong with me, shark pog?"

Apollo looked to Klavier for answers, but he seemed just as confused as he was. Neither seemed to know what was up between both of their best friends. At least, until a memory appeared to come back to Klavier. "That's who it was?"

   "No shit, Herlock."

"What the hell am I missing?" Apollo asked, directing his gaze to Clay. Clay just continued to smile in response. "Clay. What did you do?" His best friend didn't respond.

Good news, Daryan answered for him. "That fucker has been yelling 'Hey, dick hair' from across the street at me for two fucking months!"

"You never told me your name." Clay shrugged.

"Why would I tell you my name after you insulted my hair?!" Klavier tried resting a hand on Daryan's shoulder, but it was immediately pushed off, the latter slowly making their way towards the smug astronaut.

Clay held his hands up. "In my defense, someone was going to say it eventually. I just said it first." Apollo elbowed him in the ribs. "Ow, guess that's still not much of an excuse, eh?" He held one hand for a handshake, scratching the back of his head with the other. "Name's Clay Terran. What's yours, pretty boy? Wink."

Apollo appeared to be trying to test a new pyrokinesis ability on Clay's hair at this point. It wasn't working. At least Athena seemed to be getting a kick out of what was happening. Her girlfriend not so much. Klavier was trying (and evidently failing) to hold back Daryan.

The latter eventually raised his hand out to Clay. Violently. By smacking him across the face. "Fuck you." He turned away. "It's Daryan Crescend."

Clay held his hand to the already reddening mark on his face, looking up at the offender. "Yeah, I deserved that," he said, nodding.

"You did," Daryan agreed, walking away to a table somewhere across the cafeteria.

"Goodbye!" Widget called from Athena's neck.

"Arrivederci, luce stellare," Clay waved. Athena gave him a very questioning look. Clay didn't answer and started smiling again.

Athena tapped Apollo on the shoulder. "Does Clay normally flirt with people that are trying to hurt him?" she whispered.

Apollo shook his head. "Not normally, but he hasn't really had people his age trying to hurt him either for a while besides me."

   "That's concerning."

"So is trying to fuck the moon. You get used to it after a while."

   "You're just accepting this?"

Apollo shrugged. "He's done worse. I just have to make sure he doesn't get himself killed in the process." He looked over to Clay who was trying to talk to a very confused Klavier. "Hey shuttleboy, we're getting you food."

Clay pouted. "Ah, come on, why do I have to go with? Couldn't I just share with you?"

"I don't trust you to not get yourself into a round two with Daryan if I leave you unattended, and I don't think the others would be able to help you if it did happen. No offense guys."

Klavier lifted his hand in understanding. "None taken."

   "Now come, Clay."

"Hey! At least take me out to dinner first."
