"Baby, you were late. Again, " y/n said as Megamind slid his chair out and sat on it. He smiled a shy smile and took y/n's hands.
"I know, love. I'm sorry," He said. His thumb gently brushed against y/n's knuckles.
"I know you're sorry. It's still frustrating. I've been waiting 15 minutes for you to get here," y/n sighed.
"Sorry. Thank you for being amazing and waiting for me baby," Megamind replied. He took his hand away from y/n's so he could tuck a hair behind y/n's ear.
"You're welcome, baby. I love you," she said. Megamind's smile changed into a grin.
"I love you too," he replied. Megamind picked up the menu that wasn't in y/n's hand and skimmed his eyes over it.
"What food do you fancy?" he asked. Y/n hummed in thought as she browsed the menu.
"The spaghetti carbonara sounds delicious," she said with a bright smile.
"Well then," he said. "we better order two of those."
