Triple Trouble

Three things happened. And these three things would mix to create a disaster for Seokjin, Hoseok, Namjoon, and Jungkook.

1. Yoongi had a nightmare.

2. Taehyung stayed up watching horror movies with Jungkook.

3. Jimin had a bout of insomnia and didn't tell anyone.

Seokjin is the first one up, like always. Unlike always, Jimin is standing outside his door when he opens it... Is it Jimin?

"Minnie? What are you doing up?" The elder asks and the boy responds with a sleepy smile.

"Chiminie wake Chinnie hyung up," Chiminie answers, hugging Seokjin. The caregiver coos as he picks the little up onto his hip.

"Did the sunshine wake you up, baby?"

Chiminie nods and buries his face into the crook of Seokjin's neck. Seokjin doesn't quite believe that but he doesn't press the sleepy boy.

"Is my little prince too sleepy to help hyung make breakfast?"

Chiminie straightens up immediately and shakes his head.

"Chiminie will help!"

"Thank you, baby."

There's a strange air at the table during breakfast. Yoongi is unusually quiet, even for him. Taehyung won't stop frowning, which is even stranger. Chiminie seems to be relatively normal, playing with his food with Jungkook. Seokjin has a bunch of questions, but he didn't know when to ask them. And the knowing looks he keeps getting from Hoseok says he's not the only one.

Once breakfast is over, Seokjin sends everyone but Hoseok out to the living room. The two start to clean up before Hoseok voices his thoughts.

"Do you know what's going on with those three? It's rare for Jimin to wake up in his headspace. The other two just looked withdrawn." Hoseok says quietly, glancing towards the kitchen doorway. The last thing he needs is to be overheard.

"I don't know. Only way to find out is to ask them." Seokjin replies. Hoseok nods and they finish cleaning up.

"You ask Yoongi, and I'll ask the other two?" Seokjin suggests. Before Hoseok can agree though –

"Wook at TaeTae! Not dem!"

"No! Chiminie!"

Three different cries immediately follow, making Seokjin and Hoseok dash into the living room. They find three crying littles lying on the floor with panicking Namjoon and Jungkook trying to calm them down. The two younger caregivers turn and give the newcomers a look that Seokjin can only describe as fear and panic. So the eldest runs to the kitchen and grabs three pacifiers and runs back. He hands one to Hoseok and another to Namjoon.

"Pick a little, form a circle," Seokjin states, earning confused looks from the other caregivers. Seokjin rolls his eyes before managing to pick Chiminie up and sit on the floor with his back to the couch; he pops the pacifier into the little's mouth before gesturing to the remaining littles.

Hoseok scoops up Yoongi and sits diagonally to Seokjin's left. Jungkook and Namjoon join them with Taehyung sitting in Namjoon's lap across from Hoseok; and Jungkook sitting directly in front of Chiminie and Seokjin.

All three littles are somehow pacified by this formation and in a matter of minutes, all three manage to drift off.

"Jungkook, didn't Tae sleep in your room last night?" Seokjin asks and Jungkook gives him this sheepish look in return.

"We didn't really... sleep. More like we watched movies most of the night."

"Movies?" The eldest inquires, raising an eyebrow.

"Horror movies," Jungkook mumbles, only being heard because of the quiet in the room. The other caregivers groan and Jungkook immediately apologizes.

"Well, that explains one... I think Yoongi hyung had a nightmare. I went asleep alone last night but he was in my bed." Hoseok explains and Seokjin resists the urge to slap him upside the head.

"Why didn't you tell me that in the kitchen?"

"Because he doesn't like for anyone else to know he's had a nightmare." Hoseok responds and the rest nod. But that left the mystery of Chiminie.

"The last time Jimin slipped so early in the morning... happened because he didn't sleep well. Right?" Namjoon asks and Seokjin nods. He remembers that time because he made a lot of tea the night of that day to ensure it didn't happen again.

"Hyung, do not make a lot of tea. Again."

"I make. No. Promises."
