Present Day
The girl was sitting on the shabby arm chair on her iPod but it was quite obvious that she wasn’t using one it was off and the other her face was concentrated like she was thinking about something that meant a lot to her. Her hair was extremely think and in a pony tail that spilled across her shoulder, it was a dark brown but when it caught the light it was almost golden. Her eyes were well not normal if you stared at them; you could almost say they had a mind of their own, changing colours. She was wearing a plain grey top with a warm white scarf and bell-bottom jeans. Her boots were on the floor next to her big winter jacket.
I was kind of getting sick of moving from one place to the other but I had to I mean they were the only ones that weren’t killed. But they are family so I couldn’t just leave plus I had nowhere else to go. “You ready to go lovely?” “Um, yeah let me just grab one more thing” I yelled out. I hurriedly picked up my shoes and jacket and threw my iPod into the pocket next to my phone. I spun around and grabbed my little GO-Bag of the bed side table. It was one of the only things I had left from my life before this, ok I guess so it’s all the same life but one was with my parents and the other moving from one house to the other, god parent to god parent. I ran out of the room and jumps on to the stair railing and slid all the way down, River Song standing at the bottom of the stairs shaking her head, “You are soooo like your Dad!” she smiled “Well he’s not here so someone has to be like him” I shrugged and started to walk away. “Oh, I worry about you sometimes Jasmine, I mean after they all died you were the only person you knew, if your parents hadn’t decided that we were you god parents then you would have gone… Well no where.” She said be hurrying to keep up. “River, please don’t talk about it, it’s bad enough that no one told me anything about what happened until a year, A FREKEN’ YEAR after they died” I yelled turning around causing her to run into me, she sighed pushing her hair out of her face, then wrapping her arms around me. “Come on, the Doctor’s probably waiting for you in the TARDIS” she whispered as she patted my back. I took a deep breath and walked out of the apartment, well it wasn’t really an apartment it’s River’s cell but when the Stormcage Containment Facility found out that I was going to be living with River they upgraded her into a cell with more room for us. I was used to all the searches and gates I had to go through just to leave but it wasn’t as bad as getting back in, but I can’t really complain I mean I love spending time with River I have had some great times over the last 2 years but it’s really hard without my family and I don’t get to practice using my powers much…
