*Blackberry's POV*
I wipe the blood off of my hands as I look at the passed out figure in front of me. Pathetic he freaking abuses his fiance then doesn't even put up a good fight. Pathetic. I look at my gang. Most of them were staring at his passed out body with pure disgust while the others were looking at me proudly. I give them a confident smile. I love all of my gang members and they are all like family to me. There are nine of us in total, five guys and four girls. I hear someone coming towards us. Turning towards the sound I see Billy running straight at me full speed. I step back a bit so I wont get run over as he barely misses me. I just watch as he tries to catch his breath before talking.
"What did Spirit say?" I ask Billy once he finally catches his breath and stands up straight.
"She said to just tell you she has Callie." I nod understanding what she meant by that. Of course she wouldn't want to say where she is keeping Callie, not while he is here. Even while he is passed out he is still dangerous. For all we know this was all planned out.
"Alright then, come on guys let's leave this pile of garbage here. I didn't bring the proper tools to take it out." I tell my gang, wishing I had brought my silver weapons today. They just nod, some of them snickering at my comment. We go to our usual area in the woods behind the school just enjoying each other's company. Some of us sat in the trees staring at the sky, others played on their phones.
"Hey Blackberry? Why do you think he wanted Callie? I mean he hurts her doesn't he? Didn't he make her blind?" I looked up from daydreaming at Faye who was looking at me curiously, her dark blue hair swayed in the wind.
"That's complicated. Yes as far as we know he hurts her whenever he's angry. Why he wants her though we still don't fully know. If I were to guess it's because she is the last of her bloodline. Also no, he wasn't the one to make her blind. That happened while she was protecting her pack." They all look at me with a blank expression.
"What? You didn't know? Callie used to be an alpha's daughter." I say calmly as they look at me like I have two heads.
"Wait... So Callies an alpha?" I hear Andrew say. I turn to look at him and shake my head.
"Nope. Her entire pack died that day. She barely survived herself. Now she doesn't like to talk about anything that has to do with packs." I tell them, looking down. An awkward silence fills the area. Brian was the first one to break the silence.
"What should we do? Callie can't just stay in hiding; she has too many friends at school. Also his presence in the neutral realm poses a major threat."
"My family will decide what to do with her. For now let's just change the subject." I tell them, as they all nod.
"Why don't we all train our abilities?" Howin asks, I blush as his lime green eyes meet my red ones. I nod and jump from the tree limb I was sitting on, walking over to him. He gives me a kiss on the cheek before we all shift to our natural forms. I am a wolf, Billy is a cheetah, Faye is a fairy, Andrew and Howin are wolves as well, Brian is a hawk, Barrett is a bear, Amity is a neko, and Loralie is a siren.
"Okay why don't we train in groups? Three groups of two and one group of three." Loralie suggests. I nod and smile at her.
"Alright then! Billy and Faye, Loralie and Amity, Brian and Barrett and Andrew, and finally Howin against me. Anyone have any problems with the pairing?" I ask, smirking at Billy who I know has a huge crush on Faye. Everyone shakes their heads and goes to their fighting partner. Billy sneaks a quick glance at me and mouths a 'Thank you' and I give a subtle nod in response. The rest of the afternoon is spent training and having fun.
