May 19th
I was running on the poorly lit street at night. I just received a text message from Kahlil.
We've been thinking about actually going to the Dream World. He had figured out a way for us to go, for us to be able to see the Dream World without having to go to sleep first.
As I was running, I couldn't stop thinking about Lia. Ever since a few days ago, when I saw her arm, she's been ignoring me. She hasn't spoken, looked, or even bothered me.
I don't think I did anything wrong, so I don't get why she doesn't like me all of the sudden.
I haven't told Kahlil about the note I received in my locker a few days again. I was thinking about telling him, but what if he starts getting worried.
I don't want to worry or stress him out, that would just make everything worse.
I arrived at the park we were making up at, completely out of breath.
He gave me a friendly smile.
"So, how did you find a way to go there?" I asked.
"Well I did some research and-"
"Wait, you're telling me that there's actually research that you can do on the Dream World. I would think that not many people know about it," I interrupted.
"Well it was hard to find the information on the web, I mainly had to look in books. But even in books, the information was very coded and hard to understand," explained Kahlil.
"Okay, and can you quiet your voice a bit?" I asked.
"Oh okay, is their a-"
I shushed him and covered his mouth. With my other hand, I dug in my pocket to find the note I received a couple of days ago.
"Look at this note," I whispered as I handed it to him.
He quickly read it in his head and afterward, he froze.
"Who do you think it is?" He whispered.
"I have no fucking clue," I sighed.
"Is that why you told me to quiet down because you think they might be watching us right now?" He questioned.
"Yeah," I said.
"Do you think we should maybe, look around the area to see if anyone's lurking around?" suggested Kahlil.
"Not today, this person could be dangerous and we have a limited amount of time," I said.
He nodded and then showed me a page of a book.
"This book has all the information about Dream World, however, I don't understand all of it. Are you good at puzzles?" He asked.
"What kind of puzzles?" I asked.
"The type where the sentences are all jumbled up," He said.
"Yeah," I nodded.
"Okay, start with the first one," He said.
"Tree tall find leaves with the white and the pink," I read.
I thought for a second until I said, "Oh, it's saying, find the tall tree with the white and pink leaves."
"Okay, where can we find a tree that looks like that?" He asked.
I looked around the area until I spotted a tall tree with pastel pink and white leaves.
"There!" I exclaimed as I pointed to the tree in the distance.
We both ran over to it quickly.
