(Part 2 of finale)
I looked over at Lia. She had got her arms untied and was standing up. She was crying slightly with an shocked expression on her face.
I walked over to her, not knowing what to say at first.
I just stabbed her father.
Is she mad?
"I'm sorry," I apologized.
"It's fine, you did what you had to do," She sighed.
Her voice sounded a bit weird like their was something in her throat.
"What's wrong with your voice?" I asked.
"My tongue is swollen because of the snake vemon," She answered.
"So there's no hope in saving you. You really are going to die," I sighed.
She placed her hand on my shoulders.
"My dad has the cure for it in his pocket," said Lia.
I sighed out of relief.
As she walked over to her dad to get the cure.
I slowly walked to Kahlil's body. He was still blooding, but not as much as before. His eyes were closed and his body temperature seemed it was dropping slowly.
Is he dead?
Once my first tear broke free, the rest of them began flowing out of my eyes uncontrollably. My sobbing had the same force as drowning and my cheeks burned. My vision was being clouded by my tears.
I buried my face into Kahlil's body and continued to sob loudly.
It's all my fault.
If I would have just never slept with him that night. He wouldn't know about this and none of this would be happening.
But the thing that made my heart sink deeper is that I never told him how I felt about him.
I lifted my head up and wiped off some of my tears.
"Kahlil, I love you," I sobbed, "And I'm so sorry."
I buried face into my hand and continued crying.
"You love me?"
I looked up to see Kahlil with his eyes opened at last.
I wiped my tears with my arm and my eyes widened.
"Uh, it's not-"
"Lola, I love you too more than anything," He smiled.
I glazed into his eyes until I got lost in them. I was frozen and I didn't know what to do or say.
He weakly sat up. It felt like time had stopped when it began to lean in to kiss me until I could feel just soft lips touch mine.
My eyes widened in surprise and I could feel my ears getting warmer.
I gasped and felt as if my heart had skipped a beat.
I eventually gave into the kiss, parting my lips and relaxing my body.
He brushed my hair with his fingers and our eyes were closed.
'You and Kahlil?"
We parted from the kiss and my cheeks were burning red. I felt quite embarrassed knowing that Lia watched that.
"You two are so cute together," exclaimed Lia.
Kahlil gave me a flirty smile and then stood up.
