Audition for I-land, open for all trainee!
One more week until D1. Please turn in your audition video. Thanks.

I read the email with sparkling eyes. Finally, This is my opportunity to debut! I wonder how many people will be there. Oh, my audition video! I click the video and send it. Please, I hope I pass the audition for the program.

I put down my phone and I look at the mirror surrounding myself. I really lives inside this practice room hahah. I can hear someone's coming. "Hey Y/N! Are you still practicing?" Someone familiar called my name.

"Ah, Yerim, I'm resting. The choreography for my solo dance are pretty intense, so I'm out of breath" I laugh while responding. I lay on my back and look at the ceiling.

"You're really working hard, I feel bad to tell you this.." she said while fiddling on the paper that she's holding. "Hm? Just tell me" I glances at her as she sit beside me.

"I'm debuting soon..in a group of five" she looks at me and burst into tears. "I'm so sorry, I promise you that I'll debut with you together but I suddenly got the promotion and I can't refuse it, this is once in a lifetime."

I hug her and said. "Hey it's okay! I'm very happy for you. I have good news too, so don't worry" she looks at me with her red puffy eyes. "Are you debuting too?"

I hope so but it's not that sis. "I auditioned for a survival program, it's called I-Land! I hope I'll finally debut!" I explained to her and she looks kinda confused? But why..

"Are you sure you already sent the audition video?" She suddenly turned serious. "Of course, I think I'll get accepted!" I look at her back, wondering why she looks so serious and confused

"Y/N, from what I know, that program is an all men program..I don't know they have a woman category?" I gasps. This is not true right? I'll automatically get rejected because I'm not a men so I don't need to be scared if this is true.

I recheck the terms on the poster and I catches the phrases. "7 men will survive and debut". "I guess I need to contact them to say sorry for sending my video.." I sighed.

"It's okay,Y/N. I'm sure you'll debut soon" Yerim pat my back. "When? I've been waiting here forever and all my friends already debut, and what about me? Still stuck here because I'm not improving?"

I'm actually very stressed. Training is tiring and I'm doing it almost for 1 year and I still got no good words from the higher administration. I walked away and go to the cafeteria. I sit on the empty chair and scroll back through the emails.

I really want to debut. I forget about my dreams to be an athlete just because I want to dance on the stage and be cool like my beloved senior on Kpop industry.

I really should go back to my taekwondo classes and continue finishing all belt. I look at the side and I saw someone coming at me. A well looking man, in his 40s maybe.

"Are you Y/N L/N?" he stop infront of me and asked. "Yes..why?" I'm actually scared that this is a serious thing or what. I don't really know. He clasps his hand and sit infront of me where there's an empty seat.

" I received your email, why you didn't just go to the office and tell us? You're in one building but you're too lazy to meet us and said sorry?" He sarcastically said the whole word. "I just feel embarrassed, and now why are you searching for me?" I covered my face, tired actually.

"You can joined the program! No need to be sad. We'll try to search more girl trainee to accompany you while you're in that program. You're accepted!" he happily said that, in a professional way.

I don't know how to describe my feelings. I'm happy, excited , scared , and also curious. "Thank you sir! I'll work hard" I bow down and smile at him. He smile back at me and walk away to the office.

I've got 6 more days to practice. I need to practice dancing as they said I need to perform individually but I don't know when so I just need to standby.

I walked back to the practice room while playing with my phone. There are too many questions in my head. How many trainees will be there? Who is the trainer? I hope people there are nice.

"Hey, Y/N. You better put off your phone when you're walking." someone stop me while I'm walking. Who the hell.. I look up and my eyes met with Heeseung. "Hey, move over, you don't need to tell me what to do" I continue walking while ignoring him.

"Why are you so cold, I just want to be a caring person" he rolled his eyes up and walk beside me. " I'm sorry, I'm just tired because I didn't sleep for 2 days, I do dozed off a bit but not a proper sleep" I told the truth.

Heeseung is my close friends. We've been training together, he's a bit earlier than me. Well he didn't manage to debut yet, I wonder if he signed up for the show too.

"By the way Heeseung, are you joining that I-land?" "Yeah, they already accepted me two days ago"  Wow, he's really on a higher level. He got accepted and I'm so happy for him.

"Congratulations! We'll be a rival from now on!" I nudged his shoulder. He hold his shoulder and said the ouch word. "We're rival before this too, what do you mean from now on?" He laughed.

"I'm joining I-land" "Are you crazy? You're not funny" "I'm not joking, I'm seriously joining that program" "But how? It's an all men program" "They approved my audition, bruh". Heeseung looks at me in disbelief. This man need to shut his mouth before any bugs entered it.

Ding! A notification popped up. Please! Is that a response for my audition video. Please accept me. Please, please, please. Heeseung peeks at my phone as I'm checking the notification.

Hi Y/N L/N, don't be sorry. We got a good news for you. You're accepted to our program! Please practice hardly before D-DAY. Hope to see you soon!

"Heeseung!" I automatically hug him. "Whoa whoa, slow down!" He hug me back and pat my head. "We will meet there! I'm so glad for both of us" he smiles. I smile back and I release the hug.

"I need to go practice more. Bye Hee!" I open the practice room door and waves my hand at him before closing it. As I closed the door, I jumped high as I can. I'm so hype! My dreams finally came true!
