Author's Note

Hello everyone! I have two small announcements to make for you guys, so I'm gonna add a little Author's Note here.

First off, thank you to everyone who has so far taken the time to read and enjoy my fic. It means so, so much to me, and I really hope you're enjoying it! I know it's only a few chapters in so far, but I still wanted to thank you guys. You're amazing!

My first announcement is that, as I'm sure some of you noticed, I took a short hiatus from writing. Winter is my busiest season as far as activities and the like go, and I just didn't have the time in the day for everything. Between schoolwork, especially for my honors classes, my various activities that keep me going until 9 most nights, and my basic household chores and self-care responsibilities, I needed to take one thing off my plate. I absolutely love writing, and I just didn't want it to become a chore for me. I've decided that a good thing for me to do now that I'm returning (that's right, I'm returning to my story!!) is to actually set a schedule for posting instead of just doing it when I feel like it. So, my new posting schedule is Sundays :) That's my least busy day during the school year with activities, and still a convenient day during the summer as well. Thank you for the understanding during my hiatus, and for sticking with me now that I'm writing again!

My second announcement is a little more exciting, at least in my opinion.

I've never been a one-project-at-a-time kind of person. I honestly believe I do better work when I can divide my attention between multiple things. Over the course of the writing of this fic, you'll see announcements for other stories I'll be working on at the same time in my other fandoms- and maybe, eventually, I'll even post my original story I've been working on. I can already tell you I'm in the works for two Harry Potter fanfics (a marauder's era and a golden trio era one), a Divergent fic, a Keeper of the Lost Cities fic, and a few others that I've started over the course of my time as a writer. Throughout this story, you'll see Author's Notes a lot like this one to go check out the other fics I'm working on.

This is my first one of those announcements!

I've officially started another fic titled The Angelic Girl (Simon Lewis) on my account! The first chapter will be uploaded pretty soon, and I'll link the story once it's ready. As of right now, it doesn't have an update schedule. It's apart of the Shadowhunters universe, and takes place during the time of The Mortal Insturments (and, depending on it's success, may continue on into The Dark Artifices). It follows the twin sister of Jace Wayland, Cassiel, and her Shadowhunter story. I'm really excited to work on it now that I'm back from my hiatus, and I hope some of you are also apart of the Shadowhunters fandom so that you're excited too! (Side note- If you're not apart of the Shadowhunters fandom, I highly recommend reading the series! Feel free to message me to ask for a plot summary or suggestions on what order to read the books in :))
