PROLOGUE

I recommend reading HEARTBREAK SERIES #1 which is GAME BREAK.

All books for the series are connected in some ways, and are read in order. But it isn't really required if you're not a shipper for other of the ships. I just recommend it <3

Also, I will only be posting the prologue for the three books as I will focus on finishing the first book, GAME BREAK. I will then continue the second book, HATRED AND LUST after the first book.

JISOO's POV

" Kim Jisoo! " I wake up at different noises around me.

Pans clanging in the kitchen, the sound of running slippers, shouting here and there.

" What is wrong with you three..? "

" Jisoo!? It's your first day for work today! "

" What? Fuck! That was today! "

I ran to the bathroom to take a bath, and changed into decent clothes.

" Well, that was fast. " Lisa says impressed.

" I had to be fast! I have ten minutes! "

I say, while running around the small kitchen we have, looking for food.

" Jisoo, here have my sandwich. " Chaeyoung offered.

" Thanks, Rosie! You don't know how much this means to me! "

I ran to the front door and wore my shoes, grabbed my bag.

" I'll be going now, girls! "

" Wait, Jisoo! " Jennie stopped me. " Yeah? " I turn around.

" Don't forget Lisa's tournament at 8. You better be home by then. We have to watch it! "

" Yes, mom. Also, early goodluck to you Lali! "

I left and heard the faint thank you of Lisa.

I know she was desperate to win that tournament, she had to as her mom was deeply sick and the cash prize was enough for her surgery.

Her mom was a second mother to a lot of people.

Because not only was she kind, but she was welcoming just like any mother. She also took care of everyone around her.

As the four of us, sold each of our apartments to live in a small one just so we could pay her hospital bills.

Bambam, Minnie, Yuqi and Sorn also helped us out with the bills as they also thought of Lisa's mom as their second mother.

After arriving to the office, I went inside and looked for the reception.

" Hello ma'am, how may I help you today? "

" Uhm, I'm a new worker. I just got hired this weekend, and was told that I start today. "

" Ah, you must be.. Kim Jisoo? "

" Yes, I am. "

" Well then, you should go to Mr. Kim's office. It's on the sixth floor, the door at the end of the hallway to your right. "

" Thank you so much! "

I smiled at her and ran to the elevator.

As I was getting close to the elevator, I bumped into someone.
