Chapter 7

Nathan's POV

I am literally sweating under my shirt. We are going to meet Roseline's foster parents. HUMANS!! But if Roseline says they know about her being a werewolf and have no worries about that then I think I am ok.

But even then I am nervous. Roseline was sleeping on my shoulder this whole time. Well, let me tell you that we didn't get any sleep. The mating ceremony kept going all night. At morning 10:00 am, it finished. At that point of time, we (Roseline and I) went to meet my parents. They were obviously pleased with her. They also saw her conflict with Suha and were super impressed with her. My mother was positively beaming with pleasure and my father was too. But about her and Suha's fight, I was even more impressed with my litt- I mean mate. Then, Roseline proposed that she and I could go to meet her parents. I was nervous but you know my mother. She made me go with her right then and there.

While in the car, she fell asleep. After a while she stirred and got up and gave a little yawn. It was so cute. Then she turned to me and wished me good morning. After a while a conversation started between us.

"Did you sleep at all?" asked my concerned mate.

"Of course" I lied.

"You're lying hun" She told me.

"Wha- How did you know?" I asked her completely nonplussed.

"I just know" She replied triumphiantly.

"Whatever" I mumbled.

"You know you should try to sleep" She adviced.

"Nah.. I am fine" I replied reassuring her.

"Whatever you say" She shrugged.

After a while, I saw a small house(). Roseline told me that it was her parent's house. We got out of the car and to the front door. Rose ringed the door bell and a plump woman opened the door.

"Roseline!" The woman, who I am guessing is her mother, squealed.

"Mom! i missed you" She replied, hugging her back.

"What-- Is this your mate?" She said turning to me.

"Yup"

"Oooohh... Welcome to the family son!" She hugged me too. I hugged her back not knowing what to do.
