Serendipity

Chapter One

I woke up from the sun pouring through the window, perfectly illuminating my room. I opened my amber eyes and scanned the room. I tied my long blonde hair into a messy bun and approached the mirror in my room.

"Today is going to be a great day Y/N! I just know it!" I said to myself. Today is Tuesday, my favorite day, so everything will be perfect.

I go into my bathroom and put on my speaker. EXO starts echoing through the room and I hop into the shower. The smell of my strawberry shampoo fills my nostrils as I smile. After I wash myself off and step out of the shower, I grab my toothbrush and mint toothpaste. I start brushing my teeth to the beat of Growl by EXO. As soon as the song ended, I spit out the toothpaste and rinsed my mouth.

I grab my speaker and head downstairs, only to see my mother doing a line of coke. I shut off my speaker and started shouting. "Mom! You said that you would stop! You pinky promised me, how could you?!"

She looked up at me and smirked, "Why do you care? It's my own body that I'm destroying."

Tears pricked my eyes as I cried out, "We don't have the money to feed your stupid addiction! How am I supposed to eat?"

She snorted and pointed towards the door "I don't care, you're their problem now."

I looked up and noticed seven men standing in a line. "Who are they!" I yelled out in confusion.

The men looked at each other, then looked at the man with pink hair. He called out, "Du, ses! Bang!" The other men join him, shouting as well, "Tan! Annyeonghaseyo, Bangtan Sonyeondan ibnida!"

I look back at my mom in horror. "I sold you to BTS so I can afford more drugs. Have fun." She said as she leaned down again to snort some more.
