Living together actually hasn't been too bad, he makes breakfast every morning and he keeps everything clean so that's good. We don't sleep together which didn't bother me, I can admit the sex we had the other day I almost thought he wanted something more but he's made it perfectly clear that he doesn't want anything more then sub and Dom relationship plus a friendship and I was koo with that.

I definitely fought him on living here but we all know how he is by now so I told him I would only stay for 3 months max. It should give me enough time to find an apartment and focus on my studies without feeling overwhelmed and he agreed.

"Can you drive?" Carter said coming in my room "huh?"
"Let me rephrase that, are you a good drive?" I nodded looking at him confused "and you have a license?" a nodded again and he tossed me some keys and I gasped "Your gonna let me drive the corvette?!" I squealed and he laughed...a little too much for my liking "You funny ma" I looked at him with a straight face "It's not fair that you have to stay in the house and I still have businesses to run so I can't always take you to work...You can take my mustang "
"You don't have to do that Carter, I can take the bus" he sighed putting his head in his hands "Just say Thank you Ayana"
"Thank you" I responded quickly and he walked out.

"Wait" I walked after him "How come you didn't tell me you owned that club?" He stopped walking and turned to look at me "How did you find out?" I didn't answer because I didn't want to get Delilah in trouble "I have several different businesses"
"Well when are we gonna go back?" He looked at me surprised "You didn't exactly have the best experience last time Ayana, you want to go back?" I nodded "I liked what I saw.... and I want to know more, see more, and maybe experience it myself" he smirked looking at me "We'll talk about it more when you get back from work which your about to be late to" he said looking at his watch.

I quickly grabbed the my bag and keys making my way to the garage. When I opened it there was a 2021 all white mustang gt and a all white 2021 sac tuatara, my mouth just about watered "Oh my fucking god" I grabbed my phone and called Carter "No you can't take the Sac Tuatara Ayana go to work" and he hung up, I groaned and got in the mustang that was all red inside "he really does love red" I went 100 all the way to work and I'm surprised I didn't get pulled over honestly.

It felt good to not have to wait for the bus.

When I got to work it was a different feel in the atmosphere "Oh my god girl, I've been WAITING for you to get here" Janelle said hooking her arm to mine and dragging me to the break room, I noticed that the corporate people were here "Whats wrong?"
"Girl James came in and looks fucked up" I looked at her shocked "What do you mean?" she laughed "His face is fucked up" I furrowed my eyebrows "He had a black eye and a busted lip, he looked like shit"
"Oh wow, do you know who did it?" She shrugged her shoulders "No clue but regardless it's a great day" I nodded in agreement and put on my apron getting myself together.

My mind drifted to Carter, I don't think he would do something like that but he did say he would handle it so I really don't know but I will definitely talk to him about it later.

"Hi my name is Ayana I'll be your server for today what can I get you?" I said walking up to this table "Well what's good here?" I heard a deep voice say, when I looked up it was a fine ass light skin guy with tattoos up his arms and dreads "Oh umm...our steak is pretty good" he licked his pink juicy looking lips and smiled "Well I'll get a steak" I had to catch myself for a minute "How would you like it cooked?
"Medium well with a side of potatoes and your number" I laughed at him trying to be slick "I could have a boyfriend you know" his eyes were a light shade of green "Do you?" I shook my head no and he looked at me like he was waiting, I wrote my number down and gave it to him "I'm Rakim"
"Ayana" I smiled "You said that, beautiful name"
"Thank you"
"Can I take you out tomorrow night ?"
I thought about not that I had anything to do "Okay" I walked away and went to put his order in "Okay I see you" Janelle came over "Girl you nosy as hell" she laughed and walked passed me.

I don't think I was doing anything crazy, Carter just wanted sex which I was fine with but that didn't mean I couldn't date right? I brushed off my thoughts not thinking too much into it. I'm grown at the end of the day.

I finished my shift and Janelle was right, James face looked fucked up foreal I almost didn't recognize him. He didn't say anything to me or even looked my way today. I have to say this was one of the best shifts I've ever had, no perverted boss standing over me and no having to rush to the bus stop. I could get use to this.

When I got home Carter was on the couch reading "What are you reading?"
"Just prepping for tomorrow's class, how was your day?"
"Great....can I ask you something?" He nodded and put down the book "Did you...James came in beat up today" he raised his eyebrows "That's not a question?"
"Did you do it?" He shook his head "No I didn't do it" I nodded about to walk away until I realized how he said it "Wait....Did you have someone do it?"
"Yes" he picked up his book and continued reading "What-Why did you do that?" He looked at me confused "You should know why, I said I would handle it and I did" I groaned "I can handle myself Carter"
"I know that, doesn't mean you should have to all the time" I didn't have a response to that, it was kinda sweet.

I went to walk away to go get out of my work clothes "Who taught you about cars?" Carted asked stopping me in my track "uhh my dad actually, it was kind of our thing" he nodded "Why did you ask?"
"Just wondering" I furrowed my eyebrows then walked away, I just wanted to sleep now.
