"Nice room huh?" He says to me chuckling a little.
I nod my head yes as I look at him.
"Well now its yours too!" He says smiling a little.
I smile back and two girls open the door, which I assume is Reagan and Evelyn.
"Hi, Im Evelyn. And this is Reagan. She is deaf so you have to use sign language. But we are working on a hearing aid" She says while also signing.
"𝐈𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧, 𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮!" She signs going to hug me.
I hug her back. I enjoy hugs, it reminds me of my parents. I then notice Evelyn's stomach. Shes pregnant. That must be so painful and hard not to scream.
"Well make yourself at home and get to know Marcus a little. We will be downstairs." Evelyn says.
At the corner of my eye I see Reagan wink at Marcus and Marcus smiles a little.
"So, I know why you ran to the woods, but why did you go there?" Marcus asks me.
"I knew it wasnt safe there anymore so I went to the woods and ran about 2 miles before falling asleep under a tree. And then I woke up in your dads arms." I answer.
"Oh. Lets get to know eachother! Whats your favorite color, food, and movie" He says trying to cheer me up.
"Um.. My favorite color is Purple, my favorite food is Tacos, and my favorite movie is Coraline." I say.

"Oh, cool! Mine is blue, pizza, and Percy Jackson." He says smiling.
"We should probably go to bed, you can sleep in my bed, its big enough for both of us." He says blushing a little.
I blush a little too, realizing I do have a crush on Marcus. I was really happy we were sharing a bed, but I needed to stay calm.
I move to one side as he goes to the other.
"Goodnight Emma." He says to me.
"Goodnight Marcus." I say back before drifting off to sleep.
MARCUS' POV:
I say goodnight to Emma and she falls asleep right away. I turn to her admiring her. Her jawline, here eyelashes, her facial structute, she was absolutely perfect. I really like her, but I dont know if she feels the same. I hope so. I feel bad for her, shes been through so much. I feel myself moving closer to her and my arms wrap around her waist. Her back is against my chest. I felt so comftorable.

I woke up and someones arms were around my waist. I turn a little to see it was Marcus. His hair was messy and he looked so relaxed. I enjoyed this. I like him a lot, but I dont know if he likes me back.
I see Marcus waking up a little bit and I fake sleep so that way it doesnt get 'awkward'. I can feel his eyes on me. Idk why though. After about 45 seconds, I can feel him getting up. I think he started getting changed and then woke me up.
"Emma...wake up" Marcus says shaking me.
I slowly open my eyes and smile a little. He smiles back and I grab my clothes to change. I wear a long sleeve crop top that is white and some ripped jeans. As I was changing I looked at my wrist to still see the cuts there. I smiled a little, not knowing why.
After I changed, I walked out to see Evelyn making breakfast. Last night, Marcus told me that she could have the baby at any moment. Me feeling bad, I went to go help.
"Its okay Evelyn, I can do the rest." I say
"Are you sure?" She asks.
I nod and take the spatula from her. She was making bacon and eggs. Yum!
I finish the food and get out some orange juice and put the food on the table. Everyone comes down and starts eating.
"Thank you Ev" Lee says.
"Dont thank me, it was all Emma." Evelyn says.
"Thanks Emma!" Everyone says.
We continue eating and then Lee pulls me and Marcus aside.
"I wanna take you guys somewhere." Lee says. "Were gonna go to the waterfall, Reagan is gonna stay here just in case the baby comes."
Lee grabs our hands and drags us out of the house.
I didnt know why he wanted just us to go, but im not complaining, alone time with Marcus....sheeesh (Yᴇᴀʜ I sᴀɪᴅ sʜᴇᴇsʜ sᴏ ᴡʜᴀᴛ)
As were walking, it felt like forever, but then we finally reach the waterfall. It was so beautiful! The water rushing down into a river, the rocks behind it. The waterfall was huge. Lee made us go behind it.
"Stay here, im gonna get some supplies." Lee says kinda grining.
I kinda heard Lee and Evelyn talking about me and Marcus last night. I didnt know what at the time, but I assume it was about 'us' in general.
"Its beautiful" Marcus says.
"I know right! Its a great view." I say back.
"im looking at a better one." Marcus whispers, not loud enough for me to hear.
We just stare at the view when I see Marcus thinking a lot.
"You okay?" I ask him
"Hm? Oh, yeah." He says back.
"You sure?" I say trying to find out whats wrong.
"Actually, no. I need to ask you something." He says.
MARCUS' POV:
She asked me if I was okay. At first I said yes, but then I just got some wave of confidence to ask her my question.
After I told her I needed to tell her something, I could tell she got a little nervous. I grabbed her hand trying to make her relaxed, but she just got more tense.
"Emma...I know we've only known eachother for 2 days, but you're really pretty..and I really really like you.." I say to her.
She looked a little shocked and I got a little nervous. "Really-"
