Jungkook was nervous as hell.

It had been his idea, to come and see Jimin at the dance studio, but he felt like his chest was going to burst from how intensely his heart was beating. There was just something about Jimin that kept him captured and enamored. From the moment their gazes met at the coffee shop, Jungkook knew it. Jimin was his fated pair. It was just like the fairytales made it sound. When you met that person, you just knew. It was like a spark erupted when their skin touched, their scent was so much more intense and vibrant compared to the world of them around you and the pull you felt was impossible to ignore. Jungkook understood now why it was such a big deal. The only problem was, Jungkook couldn't tell if Jimin felt the same things he did. If he felt this too. As he stood outside the dance studio, he could hear the bass of whatever song Jimin was dancing to. It sounded like a classical type of beat. He hesitated before raising his hand and slipping it around the handle. Pulling the door open, Jungkook wasn't prepared for the sight he saw.

It was almost like there was this intense burst of light that overtook Jungkook and when it cleared, he saw a sight that threatened to bring him to his knees. Jimin. The music was so loud and Jimin's focus seemed too intense to be broken by his presence. The slender male was moving with such grace, precision and skill. Each flick of Jimin's hand had a purpose, each sway of his hips or spin, an extended leg here or there. What captured Jungkook the most was the expression he could see reflected back in the mirror. Jimin's dark locks were damped with sweat and clinging to his face. His gaze was half lidded, intense, soul piercing and it was directed at none other than Jimin himself. Jungkook could see it, even as his own breath caught in his lungs, that Jimin was judging himself. Each movement, each step and each mistake. Jungkook's eyes lowered, blushing faintly. He didn't want anyone else to see such a beautiful sight. Jimin spun around and that must have been when his gaze finally caught sight of Jungkook's presence. Jimin's eyes widened as he slipped out of his next step and stumbled forward to a stop. He stood up fully, panting harshly as the music started to fade off in the background as the song ended. Jungkook raised his hand, not sure why, to give a small wave.

"Uh, hey. Sorry to interrupt, it was unlocked so I kind of let myself in." Jungkook said, trying not to stare at how the sweat was running down Jimin's slightly flushed skin.

Averting his gaze as Jimin's eyes lowered and he glanced down before quickly turning on his heel to go and grab his towel. He was only dressed in a loose black tank top and dance tights but under Jungkook's intense gaze, he felt exposed. Jimin used it to wipe the sweat from his face and neck, watching Jungkook in the wall length mirror.

"It is fine." Jimin answered finally.

Jungkook side glanced at him and offered a relieved smile as he walked towards the other. Holding up the bag in his hand, the smell of food coming from it made Jimin's stomach growl and realize he hadn't eaten yet today.

"I wasn't sure if you ate yet." Jungkook said, rubbing the back of his head nervously. "Or what you liked, but I figured chicken was the safe."

Jimin stared at Jungkook for a moment after he finished speaking. Jungkook brought him food? Even though fried chicken wasn't allowed into his strict diet, he felt the need to eat it just because Jungkook went out of his way. He could always burn it off with a harsher workout and skipping a day, maybe two, of meals. Jimin offered a slight smile as he let the towel rest around his neck.

"Thank you, I can pay you back – "

"No!" Jungkook cut in, startling them both with his tone before he straightened and quickly went to add on. "I did this on my own. You don't owe me anything."
