Jimin was filled with a nervous excitement.

The time had finally come. Today the entire course of his life would change, hopefully for the better. Jimin stood in front of the theater, admiring the beautiful architecture of the building and instantly being reminded of Jungkook. A small part of him questioned if the young Alpha had a hand in the design of the building. Squeezing the strap of his bag, he lowered his eyes and glanced up at the grey, cloudy sky with a sad expression. Jungkook. Jimin regretted their last conversation, it had been nice to have someone to talk and spend time with, but he couldn't allow the distraction. No matter what, he had to succeed, to make all his sacrifices up until this point worth it. Taking a deep breath, Jimin took the first steps and made his way inside of the theater. After checking in with the young Beta, he was led to the changing room. Slipping inside, Jimin froze for a moment as the scents of several Alphas hit him all at once and through his Omega for a loop. Jimin's eyes widened slightly as he noticed all the other males in the room, grateful that he was on scent blockers as he swallowed. When eyes turned on him, he did a quick bow before retreating to the furthest corner so he could breathe. Jimin set his bag on the bench and sat down beside it, pushing his hands through his hair as he closed his eyes. Pull it together! He internally scolded himself. Even if he was the only Omega, it didn't matter. He would show all of them what he was capable of. Jimin suddenly stilled, slowly sitting up straight as he took a deep breath and calmed himself down. Nothing else mattered. A brief image of Jungkook flashed through his mind and his jaw tightened as he clutched at the fabric of his pants. Nothing. After changing into his attire for the audition, Jimin looked at himself in one of the many mirrors in the changing room as he tilted his head and turned his body to make sure it was fitting. He had saved up a lot just to buy such nice clothes for his audition. Ignoring the curious eyes of the Alphas watching him, a staff opened the door and said it was time to begin. Jimin glanced back and then to the mirror one last time.

Turning on his heel, he followed the other men out of the room. Being last in line, he expected to go after all the Alphas. That was fine, it would give him a chance to outshine all of them. As the auditions began, Jimin could see that many of these men were professionals, classically trained and skilled. Their movements were graceful but had precision to them. It made him wonder if the judges would notice that he lacked the proper education and training. He was self-taught. When Jimin was younger, his parents of course refused to support his passion in any way. He couldn't afford lessons himself, so one day, he just started to read some books on it and went from there. Watching hours and hours of footage of the famous dancers that came before him. Learning to follow the flow of the music and control every inch of his body. Then every day for several hours, he poured all his passion, blood, sweat and tears into his dancing. Jimin's eyes lowered as another dancer finished and a round of applause erupted from the judges. It finally came time for him to dance. Despite the pounding of his chest and the butterflies going rampant in his stomach, he was ready. Jimin slowly walked out onto the stage, his feet now bare as the spotlight fell on him and he faced forward as his gaze fell on the three judges before him. Two men and a woman, all respected in this field. The woman glanced down at her paper curiously as she tapped the pen to her cheek.

"Park Jimin?" The woman asked.

"Yes ma'am." Jimin replied, giving a respectful bow to the three elders.

"I see that you didn't list any credited school or academy on your application?" One of the men spoke up next, the oldest looking of the two.

Jimin stood and gave a small nod as his eyes lowered.

"I am self-taught." Jimin said, not letting the soft chuckles of disbelief that came from the judges unsettle his resolve in the slightest.

"Self-taught? So, with no formal training whatsoever, you thought to come and audition here?" The woman asked, his voice full of amusement.
