"So wherever you go, that's where I'll go, however you glide, that's how I'll go, wherever you shine, that's when I'll go, it don't matter the time, baby, that's where I'll go" -Donell Jones

"Come on ladies let's go! Hustle, hustle!" the coach yelled out as the women's basketball team at University of Houston ran around the track for conditioning. Camilla mentally rolled her eyes but nevertheless she picked up the pace as she continued her stride around the track. Lotus ran up beside her, "How about we make this more fun? Whoever finishes last has to give the other a rubdown at my place," she said in a low tone so only Camilla could hear her.

Camilla smirked, knowing what their 'rubdowns' really consisted of, "You're on. You might want to go ahead those hands ready for me Baby, cause you know I play to win," she replied with a wink before taking off, a sudden burst of energy overtaking her. Lotus tried to hide her lustful glare as she smiled before taking off after her.

It was Camilla's first semester as a college freshmen, and Lotus's was now a sophomore. Because Camilla was a rookie, she didn't get much playing time, and now that a few of the players had either left to play overseas or try their hand declaring for the WNBA draft, Lotus finally had a chance to play more minutes and she was so excited, and for many different reasons. Not only did she have more playing time, but she was no longer living in a dorm, but a campus apartment near the gym, the one most of the student athletes lived at.

Most importantly, Lotus was excited because Camilla was by her side again. It was so hard being away from here, she was so used to her being by her side 24/7, even if they weren't in the same room, she just found comfort knowing she was close. When they were in school, if they weren't in the same class she was fine because at least they were in the same building, and when they were at home, if they weren't hanging out or if she wasn't sneaking in her room in the middle of the night to sleep with her, which is something she would do more times than she could count or want to admit, she still found comfort knowing she was only yards away. She still remembered the day she found out Camilla got accepted to the University.

It was the night of the championship game as well as the spring formal. The whole day Camilla was nervous because she still hadn't heard from the University of Houston and she was running out of time. Her window of opportunity was closing fast and she needed to know something and soon. She was so nervous about that, that it clouded her mind and altered her focus, which was bad because she needed to be on her A-game while she played. Even though she played to her full potential, her team still ended up falling short of a win. Camilla was devastated. She felt that the game was her last shot to impress collegiate scouts, and by her losing, she blew it.

To make matters worse, Camilla's mother was insisting that she go to her spring formal, and she even went as far as having her sister hook her up with someone she went to college with. She was not up to it at all, for the simple reason that she didn't want to go to a dance, and she didn't want to go to a dance with a guy, and she ESPECIALLY didn't want to go with someone who wasn't Lotus. By now neither girl's family knew the exact dynamic of their relationship; they had done a good job of keeping it under wraps, but both girls felt that once Camilla graduated high school and was finally in college and away from home, they would both feel comfortable enough to let their families know the truth about them. Which is one of the reasons why Camilla wanted to go to the University of Houston, so they could be together.
