I actually really like this chapter a lot and I think it's just overall a really cute moment. So hopefully, you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. haha. Things are beginning to pick up and I have the next 2 chapters written out, they're just unedited. Stay tuned :)

It had been a long dinner.

Surprisingly, you, Kalynn, and Weston actually had a lot to talk about, It just took the three of you sitting around the kitchen table eating Sushi to figure it out.

At this point, things were definitely less awkward and the tension had eased up a bit. You still felt a bit awkward asking if certain things were okay since you didn't know the rules of their house, but for the most part, everything was going really well.

You just had to break through that barrier, and now that the walls were coming down a bit...

It was time to play Just Dance.

You guys had decided on Just Dance 1 because you were all very familiar with the dances. Luckily they had 3 remotes so no one had to awkwardly sit behind and wait. Their living room offered a lot of space as well, so no mishaps would occur.

"What song are we thinking?" Kalynn said as she popped the disc in.

"Womanizer!" You and Weston shouted at the same time. You guys both looked over at each other with a shocked face.

"I guarantee I'll beat you in that." Weston said with a cocky smile running his hand through his hair. He stood up and began to shake out his limbs getting ready for the battle.

"I'd like to see you try." You snapped back.

"I didn't have the high score on this song for 3 years straight for nothing." You added, recalling when you guys would play this in the basement in their house in North Carolina.

"Girls, girls. Stop fighting." Kalynn joked as she backed up from the Wii and selected "Just Dance" from the main menu.

"My money is on y/n, though." Kalynn said flashing you a smile and a wink. You nodded your head to say thank you.

"Good choice." You added.

Kalynn began scrolling through the songs until she reached "Womanizer"

"Wait should we really bet something on this?" You added before Kalynn pressed play.

"Good idea." Kalynn nodded.

"If I win, Weston gives me 20 dollars... If Weston wins, I'll give him 20 dollars... And Kalynn, if you win..."

"You each owe me 20 dollars." Kalynn compromised. You shrugged and looked at Weston for approval

"Sounds good to me. Looks like I'll be 20 dollars richer by the end of this." Weston said with a cocky look still plastered onto his face. Kalynn looked at each of you to make sure everyone was ready. You gave her a thumbs up and she clicked on the game.

You began to copy the dancer on the screen's movements before the actual dances rolled out on the bottom of the screen.

"You know you don't have to do this part." Weston laughed standing with his arms crossed.

"It gets me in the momentum, alright?" You shot back, earning a laugh from both Kalynn and Weston.

As the dance went on you guys all fell silent except for a couple of laughs here and there when you guys would glance at each other and see the extreme effort that you all were putting in.

It was a close game... The crown was jumping between the three of you and you tried not to look so that you wouldn't be distracted by the score.

The song finally ended and you guys all took a seat as you were a bit out of breath from all the dancing.

"Final results are in." Weston said right before they appeared on the screen.

Weston - 3rd

Kalynn - 2nd

You - 1st.

"WOWWWW" You exclaimed while looking over to Weston who looked absolutely defeated. Kalynn and you high-fived as you laughed again at Weston's defeat.

"That's gotta hurt." Kalynn added.

"Listen, this was just an off day." Weston swore to it over and over again till you finally accepted that this was just a one-time mishap.

"I'd like my 20 dollar bill whenever you'd like to cough it up." You put your hand out to Weston who rolled his eyes as he pulled his wallet out of his back pocket. He pulled out two crisp 10 dollar bills and slapped them onto your open palm.

"Thank youuuuu" You sang as you pocketed the money.

"So what song are we doing next?" Kalynn said scrolling through the options.

"This time, no bets involved." Weston added.

"What, you scared you'll lose again?" You joked, rubbing it in his face again. Kalynn let out a small chuckle as she resumed scrolling through the songs.

"SPICE GIRLS!!" You exclaimed sitting up off the couch. Kalynn shrugged and clicked on the song. You guys all stood up and took the same places as you did for the last song.

After a few more rounds, you felt yourself losing your energy and you could tell Weston and Kalynn were getting tired too.

"I should probably get to bed soon if I don't want to sleep in till like 12:00 p.m tomorrow." You said while sitting down on the couch. You let out a yawn and Kalynn caught your yawn too.

"Alright, while let me just turn this off." Kalynn said while getting down in front of the Wii to remove the game and turn off the console.

"I don't mind if you want to sleep in my room, but I'm guessing at least for the first night you might want your own area to stretch out on." Kalynn said motioning to the couch. You wouldn't mind sleeping in Kalynn's room, but at least for tonight you didn't want to make any complications so you accepted the couch offer.

"I have some extra blankets." Weston said disappearing into his room to grab a couple of blankets from his closet.

He came back with 2 blankets and tossed one of his pillows onto the couch for you to use.

"Thank you." You said, situating the pillow and blankets where you wanted them to be.

"I just need to get some pajamas and brush my teeth and all that." You said as all your things were scattered throughout the bathroom and Kalynn's room and you didn't want to intrude.

"Yeah me too." Kalynn added. You and Kalynn walked into her room to grab some clothes and get changed while Weston went to the bathroom and began to brush his teeth.

You grabbed a pair of shorts and a random T-shirt and began to get changed. Kalynn did the same. Once you guys were both in your pajamas you walked out and grabbed your toothbrushes while Weston was still brushing his teeth.

You guys all crammed in the bathroom together and laughed at the inconvenience.

"You guys couldn't have waited." Weston half-joked as he talked with his toothbrush hanging out of his mouth. You and Kalynn both shrugged in response.

As you looked at the three of you guys in the mirror you pulled out your phone and took a cute mirror picture of the three of you. Weston and Kalynn both smiled despite the toothpaste foaming in their mouths.

Things were looking up for you.
