I grew up in the city, surrounded by bustling crowds and heavy traffic. Nothing in my life didn't involve the use of a cell phone, a laptop, or some type of electronic, so when my parents told me I had to spend an entire summer in Hawaii away from all of my electronics except my cell phone, I freaked. Their main excuse for sending me off to my Aunt Jalena's house boat three miles off the coast of Hawaii was that they wanted to go on a three month cruise. That didn't mean they had to fucking abandon me on a boat ten miles from the main shores of Hawaii.

No matter what I tried their mind was made up, so defeated I packed up my bags and went around to say bye to my friends. The very next day I was off on a flight with five separate stops where I'd have to leave one plane and run halfway across the airport to catch the next that would leave 20 minutes after each landing time. When I finally arrived, I still had to suffer through a three hour drive to the coast where we would board the boat and leave the docks. Then my personal hell would begin.

Less than two hours of being there, my life began to shift in ways that would change me as a person forever. Sitting on the deck, shapes blur past the sides in the water faster than I've ever seen a fish move.

My name is Troy Granger. The story I am about to tell you is not for those who don't believe in the impossible. If you are one of these people, close this book and never look back, because the things that I saw that summer on the boat changed my life forever and if you aren't careful it can change yours too. This is not a story of fiction. You have been warned.
