Note: This story is going to be my way of apologizing for my absence and hopefully clear my writer's block for my other series. This book will probably go by quickly as it's only following the anime and through one perspective. Regardless hope you enjoy the book.

Playing the Opening Video:

0:12: Denjiro appears behind Shizuo and next to Simon.

0:36: He can be seen above the vending machine Shizuo collided with after he threw a newsbox at Izaya, Snapping a picture and sending it to his boss and chuckling. The scene pauses as it is now a still image with purple as the main color and his name "Denjiro Kasukuro" written in Japanese.

1:20: Denjiro is walking to Russian Sushi next to the van of weebs, next to Saburo. He's on his phone with a smile on his face.

1:24: Right before Izaya's still image. An image of a girl with blue hair and red eyes is in a dark scene with the only light are her red eyes and behind her are a bunch of fresh dead bodies. She's looking at the camera with a stoned face, with a little bit of blood on her face, walking away towards the camera and away from the dead bodies.

Ikebukuro, a city full of life with many interesting people around the block. There's this guy, them, this girl, this van full of weebs, and even these three students. However, this story will go through the perspectives of this particular person right here.

Just before his very eyes, he has witnessed a girl falling to her death, until "poof" a dark shadow has caught the poor girl and drove her back to safety. The bystander only watched as the scene unfold. He wasn't interested in what happened; he was only interested in the rumored black rider.

The Black Rider gave her final greeting to the girl she just saved and rode off into the streets. Curious about what just happened, the bystander made a quick note on his flip phone. This only begs the question though. How did this mysterious watcher end up here in the first place nevertheless how he got up in such a place that can capture the entire scene in a bird's eye view?

Well, let us jump back to a few hours when Denjiro Kasukuro had just arrived at Ikebukuro.

Denjiro Kasukuro, a mysterious late teen that had just stepped outside the station and enter Ikebukuro. He was given a job opportunity due to his unique background even though it did seem sketchy to him. But the details from the email have given him interest so he started living alone and told his relatives that he would be working in Ikebukuro.

Right after he entered the plaza he was hit by a gust of wind, though this wind was not ordinary by all means. It was caused by a street sign flying across his face and aiming straight into the ground next to him.

To say he was scared was an understatement, after all the gentleman had never witnessed this type of experience before. Just as he was about to collect his thoughts he was interrupted by a loud and angry voice from his right. What he heard was only one-word "Izaya"; the source was from a Japanese man with bleached hair wearing a bartender group chasing another man with black hair, wearing a coat and a cocky smirk that can tip anyone over.
