"This next attack...will be the last one."

The last one huh...? Well that definitely didn't sound good, but Yata didn't back down. Instead he clenched his hand tightly around the dagger he was still holding onto. He had an idea, but it was taking a big risk. If he didn't time it right, this fight would end with only him dying. The goal here...was to not die. Taking a small step back, the ginger kept his fiery gaze on the raven in front of him.

"Saruhiko..." Yata spoke lightly as a sigh escaped him. He wanted to get Fushimi close to him so he could make his own final strike. He figured if he could piss the raven off enough, then he would come right over. "You know, you're pretty pathetic. Are you honestly so weak that you let some bastard take over your mind that easily? Come on now."

"Misaki...if I were you, I'd watch that damn mouth of yours..." Fushimi growled slightly. He seemed unphased, but inside his head, there was a bit of a battle going on. Two voices, one belonging to the real Fushimi and the other belonging to the controlled Fushimi. Honestly they were both giving him a huge headache. "You really don't want to piss me off.."

"If I didn't want to piss you off, do you honestly think I'd open my mouth?" Yata let out a bit of a chuckle. It was probably crossing a line but...well the line definitely needed to be crossed in order to get Fushimi to charge at him like he was hoping. "I honestly thought you were better than that. Guess I was wrong. I'm pretty sure I could easily beat you, especially with how you are now. I haven't even been going full force!" That was a lie...Yata had in fact used up a lot of his strength already. His legs were practically like jelly, but he was fine. At least that's what he was going to tell himself.

"What the hell do you mean you haven't been going full force!? Are you just toying with me or something!?" Fushimi glared hard at the little ginger before him. That had to be a fucking joke. He couldn't let this boy get the better of him. If anything, he wanted to shut the other up for good. Enough talking. He was done. "Enough. I'm finished with you."

~Dead, thinking about you, you're in my head~

Inside Fushimi's head, the real Fushimi was watching in pure horror. He could feel his body moving but he couldn't stop himself. Even with Yata taunting him like that, he couldn't get himself back in control...no the taunting wasn't to get him back in control, the taunting was to get him to charge. He could see it in the ginger's eyes but he couldn't call out to him, he couldn't yell for him to move. He felt his body surging with the mixture of blue and pink auras, his sword was drawn back yet Yata still just stood there, waiting for Fushimi to come to him.

'Misaki no! Get out of the way before I run you through!' He was shouting but it was all an echo. He was talking inside his head but no actual words were coming out. He didn't want it to end this way. He wanted to fight for not only his life but Yata's as well. If his voice wouldn't work, if he couldn't fully stop the hit, then maybe there was something else he could do, but it had to be timed just right.

~Even without you I still feel dead~

It felt like everything was once again moving in slow motion. Fushimi was slowly charging at him, sword drawn back and ready to strike. Meanwhile, Yata still just stood there with his tight grasp on the dagger that Fushimi had given him. He was certain this was the only way as long as he hit in the right spot. He had promised to kill Fushimi if this ever happened but...that was a lie. Something he had never intended to do in the first place. He had only told the raven what he wanted to hear.

"I'm sorry I lied to you Saru... It was the only way but now...it's time." Yata spoke softly as he braced himself for the final blow. His body was slightly crouched down, one foot behind the other incase he slid backwards a bit. He was sure he would die with this hit, but at least Fushimi would live and in the end, that was all he truly wanted even if he couldn't be at the raven's side. He would always be there, no matter how far apart they were. He couldn't stop a small smile from forming on his face while light tears started to fall from his eyes. It was time...the final blow was coming.
