Tanjiro after hard work in the village was about to go home and it was starting to get late.
Then one man tells him to sleep at his house cause it's dangerous outside. Tanjiro tried to say no but the man made Tanjiro to get in his house anyways.

Tanjiros POV:
It was starting to get late when I was going back to my family from selling charcoal. I was just 1 hour now from our house but one old man yelled at me.
"Hey, Tanjiro! Come sleep in my house, it's dangerous at night.."
"Thank you mister but my family is waiting for me and-"
"No buts. Come here."
After resisting for a while I let the man take me in. I've met this man several times, so I knew I could trust him.
He made me some food and prepared futon for me. While I was eating I asked him what he meant by "dangerous at night". He told me few things about demons and that I should be carefull. Then told me to sleep.
I was laying in the futon. I couldn't stop thinking about my family, that they might be worried. So when the man got to sleep I whispered little "Thank you" and exited his house.
-time skip- Location: near Tanjiros house
While I was walking to our house, I started hearing teď screams... I thought I was just hearing things but I still hurried to my family. When I got there....
I saw a man.. He had black hair, he was very pale and had red eyes filled with hatred, while mine were filled with terror. ... I saw mother on the ground probably already dead, Hanako with her, Nezuko protecting Rokuta, Shigeru and Takeo still alive but frozen, staring with widened eyes at the situation.
The man was about to i don't know what to do to my sister but I quickly ran infront of her, so he hurted me and not Nezuko. I fell on her, covering her so the man can't hurt her. Rokuta ran to his 2 still alive brothers.
Then everything went blurry..
Nezukos POV:
When I woke up I couldn't remember much from last night.
Oh right...
How did I not die from the coldnest? Why did the man didn't kill me? Why do I feel warm? Am I actually awake?
Then it hit me. Tanjiro protected me... But I feel his warmth, means he's still alive...!
I should hurry to the doctor.
I got up and took my older brother on my back. He wasn't heavy at all. Which kinda surprised me.
-time skip-
I was breathing heavily. I tried to get to the doctor as fast as I can. Then I felt Tanjiro moving on my back and... growling...?
He was moving too much and because of that we fell. The good thing was that it was winter. We fell into snow, so we didn't got hurt. I was Tanjiro... standing!
"Tanjiro...! You're awake- you don't have to walk! I'll carry you!" I said with hope
He was standing there.. I felt kinda scared.. I wasnt scared for myself.. But for Tanjiro
"T-Tanjiro...?"
When he look at me I widened my eyes. He jumped at me but before he could hurt me I grabbed the closest long and thick stick to defend myself...
I gasped when I looked into his eyes..
"Onni chan... onii chan is a demon..." I whispered
I remember mother saying something about them..
"Onni chan! Onii chan, this is not you!" I started crying
I felt some tears fall on my face. But I didn't pay attention to it too much because something felt wrong...
Thanks to my good seeing I saw a man what had black hair, ocean eyes and katana in his hand. 'Probably a demon slayer' I thought.
Tanjiro noticed him too and pulled me to him so the demon slayer cut only his cheeck. He was holding me tight. I looked at the demon slayer again. He looked... well he didn't really looked annoyed, mad or anything. He didn't show any emotion at all.
3rd persons POV:
'The demon's got the girl.' Giyuu thought.
When Nezuko wanted to hug Tanjiro back, he wasn't there anymore. She looked kinda shocked when she saw Giyuu holding her onii chan. When Giyuu was about to stab him but Nezuko spoke.
"S-sir!"
Giyuu looked at her and she got even more nervous.
"Please don't hurt my onii chan! He didn't kill them! It wasn't him!!"
"Your so called "onii chan" is a demon. If you don't want to get hurt then there's 2 options. The first is that you can go away and i don't know what to do, the second is that you can watch your "onii chan" get killed by me." Giyuu answered
"N-no..." "Please just let me-" Nezuko started walking towards Giyuu and Tanjiro but Giyuu hit Nezuko by his sword making Nezuko go unconscious, still holding Tanjiro in his other hand.
Giyuus POV:
I could feel the aura change. It went silent. I looked at the demon. The demon looked quite... angry, sad and worried, all mixed together I guess.
The demon suddenly kicked me away from him. 'Crap. I let my guard down.' I thought.
'He's going to hurt the girl!'
My eyes widened little. The words that strange girl said repeated in my head.. "Please don't hurt my onii chan! He didn't kill them! It wasn't him!!" I was... speechless for few seconds but then snapped out of it. Because what I was seeing infront of me was a demon searching on the girl any injury. When he finally realized that I was still there, he started attacking me again. I was just dodging his attacks. 'Maybe... only maybe...' When he was trying to attack me again I hit him in the neck so he fell unconscious 'these siblings are diffrent...'
