Billie sat up in his bed, covered in a thin layer of sweat. He had been having the same dream for the past two weeks and it had been driving him mad. He would be sitting at his desk, the Ramones playing in the background. And all of a sudden this boy would appear, he was the most beautiful boy billie had ever seen. He had neon green hair that was long at the top, and shorter on the sides. And His eyes were the most stunning greyish blue. He would be holding a coffee mug and he would take a sip from it and smile at billie. And that's how the dreams would always end. He sighed rubbing his face before he threw back his blanket, how could he miss someone he's never met. He swung his feet over the side of the bed. Billie got up and walked into his bathroom. He closed the door, and grabbed a towel out of the cabinet. Billie turned on the shower making sure it was nice and warm, the way he liked it.

He turned back and pulled his shirt up and over his head. He slid his black sweatpants off leaving him in his boxers. He tossed his shirt and sweats in the laundry basket next to the sink. Billie turned and looked at himself in the mirror, studying his own features. He looked down and realized he hadn't taken his medication yet. He picked up the bottles, and uncapped them. He shook out one of the dull blue tablets into his hand, his antidepressants. He uncapped the other bottle and did the same with his anxiety pills. Billie grabbed the little glass cup that was sitting on the counter and filled it with some water. He tossed the pills in his mouth and washed them down. He poured the rest of the water down the drain and sighed. He finally slipped his underwear off and tossed them in the basket. He stepped into the shower, letting the warm stream of water rush over him. He leaned his head back, relaxing under the water.

~time skip to him getting out of the shower~

Billie stepped out of the shower, grabbing his towel. He ran the towel through his hair then wrapped the towel around his waist. He stepped out of the bathroom and turned the light off behind him. He went over to his dresser and opened up his drawer. He grabbed a clean pair of underwear and socks. He toweled himself off and put the towel around his neck. Billie put his legs through his boxers and pulled them up. He tossed his towel in the direction of the bathroom, and sat down on his bed. He put his socks on and laid back on his bed. Billie put his hands above his head, feeling an utter lack of motivation. Suddenly a melody popped into his constantly active mind. He hopped up and grabbed his acoustic, he strummed out bits and pieces of a melody. Billie ended up putting it together to make it sound decent. He grabbed his notebook and wrote it down. He started playing the cords again, slowing them a bit. "Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road" he sung out softly, pausing to write it down. He thought some more, playing the cords again. "Time grabs you by the wrist directs you where to go" it was coming easier to him now, writing down more lyrics. Soon he had a full song, he put it behind the cords and it didn't sound half bad.

Billie finished his song and put his guitar down next to him. He looked at his clock, it was about 11:30 and he realized he hadn't had anything to eat. He knew he had to eat soon or else his meds would make him sick. He decided he wanted to try out the café down the block from his apartment. Billie got up and started to get dressed, he grabbed a pair of black ripped jean and put them on. He pulled his favorite black and white Ramones shirt off the hanger, he slipped it on and grabbed his shoes. He put on his red high tops and stood up, he grabbed his wallet and keys and headed for the door. As he was walking out he grabbed his sunglasses off the table by the door and slid them on. Billie arrived at the cafe and pulled open the door, he got in line and put his hands in his pockets. He got to the front and a short girl with purple hair was working the counter. "What can I get you" she asked not looking at him as she got on the register. "Um yeah could I just get a medium black coffee with a little sugar" he paused " and a chocolate chip muffin" she tapped different things on the register "we have packets of sugar you can use over there" she pointed still not looking at him.

"7.50" she said, billie pulled out his wallet and handed her a 10. "Name" she asked handing him his change. He didn't wanna be bother with them spelling his name wrong so he just said bj. Billie went and found a nice little seat by the window. It didn't take long for them to call his name, he took the coffee and his muffin. Making sure to grab a few sugar packets and a little mixing stick as he sat down. He emptied 2 sugar packets into the cup and stirred the hot coffee. He took a sip "perfect" he thought to himself, he popped the lid back on and started to peel the wrapper back on his muffin. Billie couldn't tell if it was because he was starving, but he really liked the muffin. He pulled off a piece and put it in his mouth as he actually looked up for the first time. He stopped in shock, sitting across from him was the boy from his dreams. He had the same hair and those stunning eyes. He had on a pair of black headphones and he was drawing away in the sketchbook infront of him, his eyebrows pressing slightly together in concentration. He had half of a light brown iced coffee on the small round table next to him.

He was just as stunning as he was in Billie's dreams. Billie didn't realize he was staring until the boy looked up at him and smiled, he had the most beautiful smile. He froze for a second not knowing what to do, he smiled back at him with his odd crooked smile. He quickly looked away trying to hide his blush. He finished his muffin and was just gonna leave and finish his coffee on the way home. As he was getting ready to leave he noticed the boy was packing up as well. He had closed his sketchbook and slid it into his black bag. Billie got up and tossed his trash walking out, hoping he would see the boy again. "Hey" he heard someone call out behind him, he turned and saw the green haired boy quickly walking up behind him. He was slipping his bag on and took his headphones off, letting them rest around his neck. His music was still playing and it was loud enough for billie to hear. Billie smiled the boy was listening to the Ramones, "man that boy really seems perfect" he thought.

The boy stuck his hand out, "Tre, Tre cool" billie chuckled at his rather hyper energy. Billie took the now named boys hand, " Billie, billie joe Armstrong". "Sick name dude" "thanks I could say the same to you, mister cool". Tre smiled already liking this guy, who he now knew was named billie joe. "You probably think I'm weird but, I saw you looking at me and thought you looked pretty cool, you give me a nice punk vibe. So I figured fuck it might as well introduce myself" he chuckled. "Well thank you, you're right about that punk part too, you got a good eye". Tre looked at his watch, his face changing. "Fuck, um so I'm a freshman at the college a block from here and I have to get back to class, but do you think we could swap numbers, I mean I'm totally free after 4 if y'know" Tre stopped not wanting to embarrass himself. Billie blushed at the thought "sure" he smiled happily.

Tre took out a piece of paper and ripped it in half. He quickly pulled out a pen and scribbled his name and number on one of the papers. He handed billie both the papers and the pen. Billie wrote his name and number on the other blank piece and handed it to the cute, energetic boy. "Thanks" Tre said turning to leave. "Oh wait" billie called after him. He turned "just so you know I'm not some old perv I'm only 19". Tre laughed "thanks" he smiled at him before he turned back around. "Call me" he shouted over his shoulder as he started to jog in order to catch the cross walk. Billie smiled, he folded the paper carefully and slipped it into his pocket as he walked. He was definitely gonna call him later.
