I walked into Stark Industries, ready for my second day at work. I walked through the lobby and to the elevator. I scanned my key card (which I almost forgot to bring with me), and the elevator doors closed.
"Hello, Miss L/n," a clear female voice said.
I turned around but saw that no one was in the elevator.
"Who's there?" I asked nervously.
"My name is Friday, and I am Tony Stark's personal A.I," the voice said.
"Oh," I replied. "Friday is your name?"
"It stands for Female Replacement Intelligent Digital Assistant Youth," Friday said.
"Oh," I said again. "That's cool."
The elevator doors dinged open and I stepped out.
"Bye, Friday," I said.
"I am all over the tower," the A.I said.
"Can't escape you, can I?" I joked.
"No, you cannot," Friday said.
That was ominous, I thought as I walked to my desk. Scott was already seated and working away at his computer.
"Hey, Scott," I said cheerfully.
"Hey, y/n!" he said. "How are you?"
"I'm good thanks, yourself?" I asked, starting to set up.
"Pretty good," Scott replied.
I finished setting up and started work.
