I opened my bedroom door and tiptoed out, careful not to wake Wanda.
My throat was on fire, and there was no water in our room. Well, there was always the bathroom sink, but we had no glasses and I didn't want to drink it out of my hands. I lived in a luxury tower, for crying out loud, I deserved a glass.
I made it to the kitchen and poured myself a glass of water before gulping it down eagerly. There was movement in the corner of my eye and I dropped the glass before doing my boom boom woosh move and creating two orange shields.
The lady standing there was breathtakingly gorgeous. She had long dark hair, and was wearing Loki's signature horns, except one was broken.
"Who are you?" I asked.
She smiled at me nervously and rubbed her arms.
"Can you not guess, bestie?" she asked hesitantly.
I gasped and dropped my shields.
"Lady Loki?" I asked. "I was waiting for you to make an appearance!"
She smiled softly and I grinned back at her.
"You look amazing," I said.
She smiled at me again. There was a smack as someone walked into a wall. I looked over to see Pietro rubbing his eyes and staring at Loki.
"Who's your hot friend, Y/n?" Pietro asked.
Loki chuckled softly and I grinned. I looked at her and she nodded subtly.
"You already know her, Pietro," I said.
Pietro cocked his head and then shook it.
"Pretty sure I would remember someone that gorgeous," he said.
"I believe you stole my cape the other day in order to attempt to suffocate your sister," Lady Loki said, her voice like silk.
Pietro's eyes widened. He shook his head and rubbed his eyes.
"Loki?" he whispered.
Lady Loki laughed and nodded. Pietro shook his head and grinned.
"You make a pretty lad and a pretty lady," he said. "Now... I need Thor's pop-tarts."
Pietro walked past us and pat us both on the shoulder before grabbing the pop-tarts and leaving. He smacked into the side of a wall on his way out. Loki and I looked at each other for a moment before dissolving into laughs.
