Henry's POV
I was at my locker getting my things for my first class when I heard the stampede of teens running to get to their class. So of course, I had to hide my face so none of the assholes that harassed my for "being fat", would see me. The thing is, I'm not even over weight, yet they get at me.
Once the stampede was gone, I got all my things. I closed my locker only to be met with the face of a student I haven't seen before. Which was creepy, since they were just leaning there, clearly waiting for me. They were pretty tall and had long dark brown hair that was pulled back into a ponytail. Surprisingly, they dressed pretty formal for that fact that not only have we been in school for 3 months but we don't have uniform.
"Um, Hi? Whatcha doing?" I questioned the person next to me. They immediately looked up from their nails and I was met with light blue eyes that were really pretty if I'm being honest. "Oh shit, heh, um", they started with a very obvious and heavy British accent. "Well, the thing is.." they continued, "you looked like the only person that wasn't a, well how do I say this nicely, a cunt."
What. "Also, I'm William. What's your name, the only person that doesn't look like an annoying cunt?" He said casually. What. The. Hell. "Um, I'm Henry. Wait, I'm guessing you're new here?" I decided to say that to forget about me apparently not being a cunt.
"Yep, and I have no idea where to go and what to do. Which is apart of why I was waiting for you. Along with the concept of making it seem like I knew you, I wasn't lost, and so none of those weird ass girls would come up to me." He said shuddering at that last bit. "Damn. Anyways, I can help you get your schedule and help you know we're your classes are and all that. I don't really care about getting to class on time so I can help you." "Oh really?", he said with a smile,"That would be appreciated."
Time skip to after all of that stuff since I don't know how that works-
Henry's POV (Continued)
After sometime, William and I found out that we had all of our class together and we actually like the same things. While he could build anything with a whatever was around, he had absolutely no idea were to go with his talent. And for me, I have so many ideas yet, I have absolutely no idea where to start. We are basically a powerful couple- I mean.... we could probably make things together.....yea. That.
After a bit of walking and talking we got to our English class, which I absolutely hated since other would get at me for just paying attention sometimes. Not saying I was the most caring about that class, but I just happened to be one of the six people that are passing above a C.
"Why are you late, Mr. Emily?" The teacher questioned me as soon as we got into the classroom, which made some people snicker. Before I could defend myself, William spoke up. "Well ma'am, he started and I swear I was shocked on how formal he was on his first day, when everyone else were assholes. "Henry here happend to see me not know we're to go so he help me get everything I needed since I'm new here. And will full respect, there are other students that are late but don't even go to class" he finish and everyone was silent.
"Hm, very well then. Henry, go sit down" she started and quickly got to my seat. "Now you, what your name and introduce yourself to the class." She said turning her attention to William.
"Alright. I'm name is William Afton and I just moved here from England." He started and was interrupted by someone shouting "Have you drank alcohol!? Ya know, since in Europe they can drink young and stuff"
William looked surprised and then answer "Well, I have had wine and a bit of beer but that's all."
I swear, the moment he said he had alcohol, the class drunker just started to get happy until he said "I don't drink that much so I wouldn't casually go out to drink." And of course, they then immediately looked bland. "Well that interesting. Now Mr.Afton, you can sit," the teacher started to look around the room and then saw the only open seat was next to me, "you can sit next to Henry."
He smiled and then sat down next to me after walking over. "Now, let's get going with the lesson" the teacher said and then everyone groaned being annoyed.
About 59 years later
William's POV
I smiled as Henry finished telling how we met. It true saved me from myself in many ways. "Wait, so you guys just immediately clicked? Lucky asses. It took months for me to get the other to trust me, even though I gave them life." Charlotte said flopping back in annoyance thinking about the other dead kids that are still after me even though I very well understand my mistakes.
"Well, its beter than not being trusted by your own family" I said laughing a little at the end. I wasn't hurt by them not trusting me anymore. I had a new family, that was the best thing I ever had. Charlie sat back up and then said "Papa, that doesn't count. They're assholes. Plus I forgave you for being an idiot." Henry rolled his eyes and then said "I swear, if we never met, I won't have a swear child," he started playfully," and I don't care that you're an adult technically. Your still my little 12 year old child."
"Aw that is so cute" I said sarcastically, even though it was kinda cute. "Pa, you just need a group hug" Charlie said knowing damn well I don't like being squished in a hug. "NO-" I was cut off by Henry and Charlie pulling me into a hug, that I decided to hug back since it was comfortable. They truly are a better family for my broken heart.
They managed to put me back together.
