3. Trip Around Konoha
____________________________________________________________________________
Hajimari stared at the building in front of her, confusion filled her face to the max as she silently looked between the building and Minato who stood there proudly. She could almost see the sun shining behind him as if to exaggerate his actions.
What he was proud of was unknown, this place looked horrific.
The building was rundown, there were a few cracked windows here and there, the 'playground' if you could even call it that looked like a miniature battlefield.
The slide had a massive crack in it, even though it was made out of metal. the wood for the swings looked like it would give a splinter, splinters and there was mud everywhere, not a single Sign of grass to be found.
How the actual hell, could this place be classified as an orphanage it looked more like a haunted house than anything else.
"Well, this is our stop, so what do you think!?" Minato perked up.
Hajimari looked at him with a deadpan. There was no way he thought this place was kid-friendly.
However, from the way, the man was standing and looking at her... well the best way to describe it is a puppy. Minato looked like he had high expectations for her and this place, and as scary as the guy is, at that moment she could only call him a puppy.
Well, and an idiot, but that would be saved for later.
"I-it looks h-h-haunted," she said giving the place a second glance, Konoha wasn't really looking like a good village anymore.
She almost felt that the second she stepped onto the premises a ghost would drag her into the building, and that image kinda scared her.
"Oh, well it's not that bad, I promise it looks worse than what it actually is," Minato explained.
Oh, so he was aware of the horrific sight, if she was being honest with herself, she couldn't quite decide, if sleeping in a Haunted house, was better than not sleeping in a house at all.
However before she could finish that thought, Minato gently held her arm and began to walk them towards the building.
Well no turning back now.
The closer they got to the building the louder the screams that were heard from inside became.
Minato knocked on the door, and Hajimari wouldn't lie, it made her flinch. This place was creeping her out.
The door swung open and inside were kids, aged from 4 - 15 all running around screaming and laughing.
Well, at least she knew what the screaming was now. That didn't make the situation any less creepy.
The woman who had opened the door was a tall, large and duly as can be. Her makeup looked rushed and her buck teeth made Hajimari cringe.
Minato however kept smiling.
"Ah, Miss Matron we have another one for you," Minato said pushing Hajimari forward.
The Matron's gaze shot from Minato's to Hajimari, so the poor girl began shaking like a leaf.
"Hmph, fine. Come in brat. You bring another one to me Minato and I'll send 'em right back out. We ain't got no more space ya hear." She said scolding the fully grown man.
Minato just kept his smile up as he handed her some papers and gave a short bow.
"Loud and clear. Good luck Hajimari... you'll need it" Minato said, although he had whispered the last part.
