"Have you ever wondered what it takes you to live a happy life ?
Is it money ? Is it getting a degree ? Is it the girl you wanna date and get married to ?

No. It doesn't .

It takes a lot more to be happy .

Let's reframe it , " Happiness is but an occasional episode in the general drama of pain" , said Thomas Hardy , of course.

Pain . What is pain ?

Is it when you hurt your ankles ? Or is it when you see the guy you like is dating another girl ?
Or is it when you see you are just invisible to the outside world ?

Invisible , people call it a nihilistic approach to life where you can see nothing but pain and suffering in this world. I mean that is what exist , there was a time when I gave all my love to everyone and I took their everything. They come to me and give me their pain , I turn them into happiness and they leave.

A one way thing.

I don't remember when I started taking in everything, I don't remember at all. And now it is what I am good at.

People have a weird pattern of behaviour, they don't want to listen , all they want is to say, and when you don't say anything and listen , they say , " Why aren't you saying anything?" . Funny.

People are dipped in duality . They don't know what they want and what they desire. So, they end up hurting both - the reasons of their existence."

Akira Roy .

********************

Akira started her morning routine on a usual note . She woke up around 10 am , had her breakfast and sat in front of her laptop. It's been one and a half year since the pandemic hit the shores . Death toll increasing , vaccine duplications , people going hungry and what not . Should it bother her ? If yes , then why ? If no, still why ?

Why should it bother her ?

She did what she could , she feeds the cats and dogs of her locality , she helps the oldies - what more you expect her role to be ?

She is not a scientist to come up with the cure to the virus .

It all started since the pandemic , Akira was actually a jolly and a lovely girl , but she was getting exhausted to live according to the decorum , to always have herself presentable in every situation. It was getting exhausting. Things were just being too intensified for her to handle . She could see through the facade .

Akira is exhausted from all the pretentiousness around her . She wanted to withdraw but somehow she still lingered in the social realm , still clinging on to the social animal inside her.

One day a guy sent her friend request on Facebook, a completely unknown guy with no mutual friend with her. Akira usually don't accept unknown friends but she did accept this one . Little did she knew about what awaits for her .

*************

Akira's phone beeped , she took her phone to check the notification, it was a text from the unknown guy , his name is Kuroo Nakamura .

"Hi" , the text said

"Hey" , Akira replied .

A few minutes later, "You have a very unique name"

"Mmmm okay, thanks"

"Welcome"

"So, what ya upto ?"

Akira didn't replied , she knows where the text will lead to, it's always the same , first you talk then you exchange number , you talk day and night and then turn to complete strangers again and moreover Akira doesn't like texting .

There was silence for two straight days. Akira opened her messenger - no nothing . "Just a passing stranger", she thought to herself .
