The weekend arrived , Akira is a little excited then usual . Someone apart from Sheila , the delivery guy and her cousin Rick , is going to show up at her door .
Kuroo informed Akira that he'll come by 7 . Akira loves cooking so she thought of making something. She went to the grocery store and got herself some good chicken wings and chicken breast, some veggies , chips and not to forget some alcohol .
She returned to her den and disinfected the groceries , put on some fancy Taylor Swift music and got down to work .
Cooking is like a therapy to her . But first things first - she took out her baking stuff and baked herself a chocolate sponge cake . While the cake was baking , she peeled some garlic and peeling garlic is like a nightmare to her . It takes her ages to peel the garlic but now when that's done , she chopped up some veggies for her "Uncle Roger Egg Fried Rice" - Uncle Roger is a Youtuber and she loves watching his video , he is basically famous for making egg fried rice and also acts as a critic of egg fried rice , his secret ingredient is MSG . Akira didn't forget to add MSG in her fried rice - it really gives that umami flavour to the rice .
Ting.
The cake is done . She took the cake out of her oven and it smelled like heaven in her apartment. She cut the cake in half and layered the bottom of a cute little round jar with a piece then poured in her whipped cream and chocochip mixture and layered it up with a piece of cake again and at the top she added a generous amount of caramel ; she closed the jar and put it in the freezer . She made two of it as dessert.
Her egg fried rice was done and now it's time for the chicken - she just made an easy serving of garlic chicken and as for starters she just made Korean style chicken wings and voila ! She looked at the clock it's almost 5:50 pm in the clock . She got an hour of time to herself before Kuroo arrives .
She quickly took a shower and changed into her black tennis shorts and her oversized deathnote tee . She checked the clock again it's exactly 7 in the clock .
The door bell rang .
It's always fun and games before the action but when the action is taking place Akira feels like running away and hide in a corner begging for mercy for agreeing to whatever to a plan .
She has acted and enacted all the ways of how she will behave in front of Kuroo but nothing , nothing comes to her mind now . It's just blank . She is now questioning her very existence as of why she is even allowing a stranger to crash at her place ! Why not go out and eat or something or anything but this . But now just like fate , his intervention in her house is INEVITABLE.
Akira's heart is beating fast . Just behind the door stands Kuroo. Its like just a metre distance between them . Akira took a deep breath and....
Opened the door .
