ﾟ+..｡*ﾟ+𝐙𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤, a pureblood, a sister, a daughter and what not. Her life is a mess. I complete mess and it gets more messy when The Marauders marched into her cabin in their third year.
Naina Talwar a half-blood, best friend of Zara Malik and a top student at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Zara met Naina in their first year and instantly became friends. Zara with her i-dont-give-a-fuck attitude and Naina who's every fibre of her body was made up of kindness, made up a brilliant duo.
Along with the pranks both the girls played with the Marauders. They were excellent at studies.
The two girls were now boarding the Hogwarts Express which will take them to their second home. Hogwarts.
Zara pushed open a random cabin and sat on the window side. Her hair up in a high ponytail, wearing her black skinny jeans, a plain white t-shirt and a denim jacket along with her red converse. Naina,who was trailing behind her entered the cabin and shut the door.
"So Malika, how was summer ?" Naina asks currently shuffling with her small black backpack she always kept with herself.
"Same noons, those pureblood lunatics hosted a stupid ball and invited all the 'honorary purebloods'" Zara says in a bored tone while doing the quotation marks with her fingers.
"I personally wanted to just remove the fucking gown and run away IT WAS ITCHY !" She exclaimed the last words which caused Naina to chuckle.
Suddenly the cabin door opened to reveal a redhead. Lily Evans took her spot next to Naina.
"LILY" Zara shouted and attemted to hug the redhead but in return got a smack on her head with the copy of daily prophet Lily has in her hands
"𝑶𝒘!" she exclaimed rubbing where she was smacked.
"Stop shouting! I have been trying to get away from Potter! That idiot isn't leaving me alone !" Lily says keeping her voice low.
"Should have said that earlier" The poor girl grumbles
"Oh come here" Lily says rolling her eyes at the child-like girl.
Again, the cabin door was thrown open and barged in four boys
"Hello Lily Flower, Malik, Khurana, Oh Lily Flower you look wonderful today !" Exclaimed a beaming James Potter getting hellos from Naina and Zara as , he took Lily's right hand in his hand bought it to his lips but as her hand was about to touch his lips she quickly snatched her hand away.
"When do I not look wonderful, Potter"
She says rolling her eyes at the raven black haired boy.
"Hello Ladies" says Sirius Black pushing James out of his way and bowing to Naina, Lily and Zara as he took his seat next to Zara
"Hello, Black" she says shifting close towards the window.
"Still scared of me Malik ?" He asks leaning towards her ears, when he saw her shifting.
"I'm not scared but you smell because of the hair products you apply" she shoots back while doing a weird hand gesture causing Sirius to gasp and put his hand to his chest whilst the others chuckled and rolled their eyes.
" Hello Malika, Lily, Niana" Remus says offering a kind smile towards them three and sitting next to Sirius
"Wotcher Lupin" Zara says
"Hi Remus" Lily and Niana say
"Hello you three" says Peter earning a chorus of hellos from the three girls. Peter took his seat next to James
"Okay, why are you four here ?" Questions Zara narrowing her eyes at the four boys.
"Nothing Malika, couldn't get a cabin" says Remus.
"Talking about Cabins, Remus c'mon we have prefect duties" Lily says following Remus out of the cabin.
After several minutes of silence Peter decided to break it
"Why do they call you Malika, Malik ? " Peter asks Zara
"Oh that, it's a nickname, Malika means queen" Zara answers as Sirius does a crowning gesture towards her.
"That you are" he mutters
"Malika, tune auntie se baat ki ?"(Malika, did you ask auntie) asks Naina
"Nahi Noons, mummy ko time ni mila" (No Noons, mummy didn't have time) Zara answers
The three boys blinked.
"You both can speak a different language ?" Asks a shocked Sirius
"Yeah we can" Niana replies kind of unsure what else to say
"Cool teach us" Peter says
"How the hell do we teach you a whole different language" Zara raises an eyebrow
"C'mon teach us, Svivellus wouldn't know if we curse him besides it can be our secret language" James suggested.
Now in came Remus and Lily and took their seats without a word
"Okay then" Zara simply says making all eyes fall on her.
"Say main" Zara says
"Main" the boys repeat
"Bewakoof" she says trying to stiffle in a laugh
"Baevacoof" the boys continue cluless to what the word means
"Hun" she finishes
"Hun" they finish as well
"Say Main bewakoof hun" Zara says
"Main baevacoof hun" the boys repeat after her.
Naina and Zara share a look and
both burst into fits of laughter.
The boys looked dumbfounded making the two indian girls roll with laughter.
"What the hell is so funny" asks Remus amused lily nods in agreement
"She- she just made you say that-that I'll quote ' I am an idiot'" says Niana sitting up straight, looking at the confused and annoyed boys
Zara now stopped laughing and was looking at the three boys' reactions.

After the feast in the great hall Zara, Naina, Lily, Marlene, Alice, James, Sirius, Remus and Peter sat in the Gryffindor common room for some time before heading to their dorms.
Lily shared her dorm with Alice and a girl by the name of Dorcas
Whereas, Zara, Naina and Marlene shared a dorm room right next to Lily's.
