"Aree? If it isn't (Y/N) (L/N)?" You heard from the counter as soon as you enter the book shop. The smell of paper and books filled in your nose as you smile with satisfaction.

"Yup, me again! Got something new today?" You asked as you placed your arms on the counter with your chin at the top of it. A red haired girl with glasses faced you with a book in her hand while smiling.

"Yes yes!" She answered with enthusiasm and fixed her glasses.

"Including the you know what?" You whispered excitingly, trying to make sure that no one will hear you. The girl nodded and gave you a thumbs up. Which made you smile widely, flashing her a 'then-where-is-it?' look.

"Yeah, so go and get it right now before someone else grabs it." She spoke which made you nod and walk your way towards there. You're probably wondering who that girl is? Well, she's Rin, the daughter of the shop's owner. You can say that both of you were like somehow close since you've been visiting the shop together with your mother ever since you were a kid. Both of your mothers do get along, same for you and her as well. Whenever you visit the book shop to grab some books and read, you two will always talk about things in life. Might also add that most of the topics are all about stories and interests both of you shares when it comes to reading.

As you search through the mangas in the shelves, you felt someone stood beside you. Perhaps looking as well. Wait—... looking? Hold up. I gotta find that quick, who knows that they might be searching for that manga too. You thought as your eyes wandered around quickly, speed reading each titles you'll see.

'Wait, I found it!'

You reached out to it and was about to pull it when a hand brushed on against yours, holding the book too. Your eyes widened as you stopped pulling it. Did the person—... are they going to get it too? You slowly looked at the person who's hand that is holding yours and the book belongs to.

You saw a person wearing a white hoodie with a black mask. Judging from your perspectives, the person must be a male. The height and body gives it all.

"Uhm— I'm sorry but I found it first hehe." You awkwardly said as you tried to pull away but the person didn't let go. They just stared at you which made you frown. The person pulled their mask down to their chin and flashed you grin. Your eyes widened as soon as you saw their full face.

"(L/N)-san, it's me, Chifuyu." Chifuyu said and looked at you. He lets go of your hand while you just stood there with your mouth opened a bit. You weren't expecting to see him again— like it's sometimes rare to meet the strangers you've met before again, like what are the odds of that happening? But here it is, it happened! Not that you're complaining though.

"Say, are you going to get this?" He asked. You looked at the manga in your hands and nodded.
