The two ran across the dessert, around the mountains of Nulas, back across the plains, through the dark forest, and into the ruined, burning village of Equestria. Dash stopped at the entrance of the village, turned to the stranger, and asked him "You never told me... What's your name?" "It's Ratchet, and I'm a lombax. And you are who exactly?" "Well, I'm a pegasus named Rainbow Dash. But you can call me Dash. Now, you ready?" "When you are, kid." "Then let's go. Remember, you wanna get the pink pony, but not the others." Ratchet nodded, and they rounded the corner of the building to find the middle of the town. On the other side of the fountain, Pinkie stood over several ponies that knelt down on the ground, cowering in fear. Two of which were Twilight and the newborn colt. Twilight had promised had promised Rainbow Dash before the pegasus had left before that the colt would be safe no matter what happened. And now, Twilight stood trembling between Pinkie and the colt. "You'll never... get away... with this" she began to say. However, after the recent unseen fight between Pinkie and Twilight, Pinkie was till at relative full strength while Twilight was now feeling very weak, and coughed up blood with each word she threw out. Pinkie replied "Is that so?" She was interrupted at the site of her main nemesis, Rainbow Dash, and her assistant, Ratchet.
"Hey Dash, long time no see, huh? Who's your new friend? Or is that some little ..... you hired to help you?" "Shut up, Pinkiemina. You were never worth anything to me. I hate you, plain and simple." Rainbow Dash had a tone that showed no care for anything that existed, much less any care for Pinkiemina. "You should have crawled back to the grave you came from. I'll make you pay for everything you've done." Dash readied her sword, but Pinkie was also ready for a fight, and pulled out a small knife that also looked like it was off-this-world. "Like it? Some random pony came in raving on and on about it. You know... I still have your number, Dash. We can still play after we spar if you'd like. You realize that I never finished..." Dash interrupted, saying "Mincing me for your sick fantasies. Yeah, you're not fooling anyone anymore." "All this time I had your number. While, yes, new ones came up, yours never went away. I would really like to play with you again, or at least, soon that is. We need to find some time." "You mean fight, right? Well, I don't want to "play" with you. I wanna fight!" After that, Rainbow charged Pinkiemina, and swung the sword, but Pinkie back stepped out of the way, leaving only a small cut on her left front leg. "Ow! Why did you do that? You need to learn some manners!" Dash screamed, charging at Pinkie once. But this time, Pinkie made a stabbing motion with the knife, and hit Dash the slightest bit. The armor revealed a tiny cut upon the blade's removal. "That should teach you some!" Dash let out a blood-curtling scream as she began to repeatably swing the sword, trying so hard to kill her nightmare. "You... Shall... Die!" Over and over, Pinkie managed to dodge the attacks. But then the pink pony kicked Dash in the stomach, sending her back a few feet. Why couldn't Pinkie have sent off? It was too late for the village.
Ratchet came in to get the other ponies out to safety, but Pinkie had caught him. She hurried to him, jumped up, and spun around kicking him in the head, sending him back several feet. She yelled out "We're not done playing our little game. You can't take them when we're playing." Ratchet ignored that as he went off to find a vantage point to attack from. Rounding a building corner to hide, he looked up, and climbed the broken house to reach the roof. He creeped to the side facing the fountain, and saw that Rainbow Dash was not around. "Where did she go?" He looked around, but couldn't find her. Suddenly, he heard screaming coming from the other side of the fountain. It was Twilight Sparkle charging to headbutt Pinkie. However, Pinkie was too busy looking for Dash and Ratchet to notice the screams, and was pushed into the ground by the angry pony. "You'll never hurt that colt!" Pinkie got up. " Is that what you think is going on? Wow, you're really dull, Sparkle. Too bad you interrupted our little game, and for that you have to die. Sorry, but goodbye, ol' friend." Pinkie charged at Twilight, but then Ratchet jumped down from his vantage point, and hurried. Pinkie, now wielding Dash's sword, swung downwards on her friend. Fearful, Twilight shut her eyes.
