Fire with Fire (Hyunjin x Reader ff)

Ever since last night's occurrence, I've been very awkward around Hyunjin. I don't know why but I guess I'm just like that. He's loosened up more. 

I was in the kitchen, making chocolate waffles and some chai. It was 10am. The windows were wide open and a soft chilly wind filled the kitchen with an earthy scent. It was very pleasant and I took a deep breath. Strong cologne hit my nose as two arms snaked around my body, engulfing me close. I could hear his breathing... he cuddled as he said," I don't wanna go to work todayyy! I  wanna lie next to you and hold you close... and apologize to you for all the things I did to you... because you're so beautiful.. and lovely... and... and I love you"...

I could sense that his eyes had closed, my body was stiff. Considering how conservative my family was, I had always kept my distance with men. It seemed weird  how a contract allowed me to destroy all boundaries that I worked so hard to put. I was married to him now, but that still didn't prevent the weird queasy feeling from building up inside my body. 

It was as if I wanted Hyunjin to let me go, but I also wanted him to hold me even closer. 

Slowly, he let go and held my hand instead.

"You want me to help you with anything?" he looked at me.

"No, I'm good...Sit down, I'm bringing the waffles any minute.." I said.

He dragged a chair all the way from the table and sat right behind me.

"What are you doing?" I said, feeling sort of uncomfortable.

"Just- admiring you.." he smiled cheekily. 

I sighed and continued. It felt slightly uncomfortable, to be honest... but I didn't entirely hate it. It was difficult to understand why he thought of me as so beautiful~ I was just some ordinary girl, nothing spectacular or interesting about me... it was veryyy difficult to understand.

It was 4pm. Hyunjin was at work... and I was in the kitchen. I decided to turn on the TV. The same old celebrity news and a sudden breaking news came along...

"Mr. XXXX has suicided after finding out he would be arrested because he let abuse occur to his daughter! His wife is nowhere to be seen and his daughter is still missing. His daughter was reported missing at XXXXX (date). The police sent out 13 search parties but returned with no luck. Man suicides to prevent going to jail. No note has been recovered from the burned down house!"....

I dropped the remote, gasping! 

My dad suicided!
