When the trio escaped from the pillars of the Glade, they thought that everything was over and that they would get to safety. However, just before they were about to celebrate their victory, another forest appeared, only this time it wasn't wild, thick, and suddenly mysterious. Instead, the forest floors creaked as they stepped one at a time, and the floors were filled with slimy black goo. As they walked on the black floors, Felix heard some noises like roaring. Alvira just told them that they were using their imagination until a shadowy figure made an appearance. All of them looked at each other, particularly Alvira, who had a confused and curious expression. Letha told them that it is just one of those bizarre spirits they viewed earlier. Felix doubted the strange figure and told Letha to poke the figure by grabbing the stick near her feet. Letha asked if she should, but Alvira and Felix assured her that it was the right thing to do in this situation. Letha stepped closer towards the figure and poked it with the stick. Only this time, it did not vanish. The figure stepped closer while Letha stepped back, feeling scared. As the figure came into the light, it had black fur and sharp teeth as it grinned. The figure was also a three-eyed monster.
Slowly, three of them started approaching them, and they looked identical. The trio question: who is the figure? Why is it in the forest? Mainly, why is it so creepy when I look at it? The trio had never encountered one before. Before they could speak to the creature, it came near, and it held Felix's shirt collar. The monster had magical powers and could mind-read human thoughts and understand human language. "Why are you invading my property?" it said. "Excuse me?" Alvira said. The monster was filled with rage, as slime was coming out of the third eye. "Why ARE YOU INVADING my property?" it repeated. Letha was shivering and tried to escape but screamed out loud as another monster held her hand. The monster was desperate to kill them with its dangerous claws. The claws were emitting out poisonous toxins, which can be transferred into each of their bodies, causing them to die.
"I sensed that someone was going to invade my property." it cackled so fiercely that blood oozed out of Felix's ear.
"I am Golly, and I have lived here for long. Many people fear me because of my toxic claws. People were exploring MY forest long before the gooey substance fell, and I killed them, I tell you, killed them." Why are you here?"
The trio were afraid to answer. Finally, Felix and Alvira urged Letha to step up. Letha responded by saying, "Why me?" And Alvira said, "Because you're the brave one among us."
As Letha walked closely towards the monster, it eyed her so curiously. Letha mustered up her courage to talk to the creepy demon. "Um...um.. we are here to escape from these Solid Spirits that had been chasing us around..and..and this was the only other path we could find."
"Oh, innocent child. I guess you are not aware that we are those Spirits, and we disguise ourselves to hunt you down."
All of them were awestruck by the unexpected twist: and thought, oh my god. How can this be happening?
"Haha. Golly chuckled wickedly. "There is no way to escape us now.." Boys attack." The only way to escape these monsters was if they could inject a secret potion to transfer through one of their claws.
Alvira took on Golly, but he was too vigorous to beat up. She luckily escaped his poisonous claws and fell down on the slimy floor so hard that it almost cracked. Letha and Felix were fighting the Golly's brothers, but they also failed in doing so. All of them were lying across the floor, struggling to get up. Alvira decided to devise a plan that could help them escape and secretly whispered to Letha and Felix. The plan was that while Letha distracts Golly, Alvira and Felix will gather supplies within the forest to make the secret potion. They were looking for a leaf called the sycamore maple as it's strong enough to kill all of the monsters. Letha and Felix immediately agreed...but the only setback was, how to collect supplies without the monster noticing them?
Even though it was risky, they decided to execute their plan. Letha called Golly and said, "Try to kill me." This made Golly enraged, and he came towards Letha. Meanwhile, Alvira and Felix were searching for the sycamore leaf, and were able to make a potion and threw it at one of Golly's brothers. Eventually, Golly's brother fainted by the potion with a loud thud. Now, the question the trio had in their minds was: how to take down the other two monsters?
