As Letha, Alvira, and Letha's father ventured out into the snow-covered forest, Letha pondered as to how her father showed up, and particularly in this case, how did he know where Felix was? Meanwhile, Alvira's thoughts revolved around Felix, and how she was heartbroken due to his condition. She remembered the moments of the first time she caught Felix's eye. After a few moments, Letha caught up to Alvira, and asked if she was okay, but Alvira responded that she cannot lose Felix, and let go though he was somewhere alive and wicked. All Felix ever wanted was to destroy the imperfections of society, and that could be accomplished by taking out all people who committed sins. However, just before Letha was about to come up with more questions, Letha's dad pulled out a knife, and just before they were both going to get attacked, Letha mustered up the courage to kick her dad in the groin. However, Alvira exclaimed "Letha, please, we need him, we need...Felix." Letha, acknowledging Alvira's advice, decided to leave her dad alone. Letha's father slowly rose up, and exchanged a hard-core glare at Letha, and in turn Letha rolled her eyes. Alvira, was trembling in fear as both of their eyes turned a dark grey color, looking fierce.

Slowly, Alvira viewed a trail of blood marks near what resembled a cliff. It was golden when reflected in sunlight occasionally, and had edgy points. Letha thought they found Felix, but he was nowhere in their sight. One thing they did not know was that Felix was lurking around them in a Japanese Oni mask, killing hundreds of people, and his next target was Alvira & Letha. Alvira was astonished to encounter a glimpse of this mysterious misty figure killing people mercilessly. At first, she thought that she was delusional and imagining, but not this time! "Felix, is that you?'' she said with remorse as tears rolled down her brown eyes. He did not respond to her call, and she could see half of his face inside. Letha's father chuckled and was shouting "Hey, look at Felix, all jazzed up like a crazy villain." Letha thought how "crazy and insensitive'' her father is, but deep inside, he wanted to build a bond with Letha, and show her that he loves her, yet he doesn't know how. On the other hand, Alvira, recalled a medicine widely known as the panacea, invented by the Greeks which was mentioned in Felix's journal during their time at the Vertex Lab. It read that the medicine could "cure diseases, and prolong life indefinitely." Filled with curiosity, and strong-willpower to get her friend back, she decided to rub it on his face and take off his mask but she could not match up to his speed, as he was running rapidly with these weird-Spirits. Letha ran over to Alvira, and whispered quietly.

"Alvira, look, I know that this is going to be tough and risky...but we have no other choice...but to let Felix go."

Alvira, was balling out her eyes, "How can we let him go Letha? Ever since I came across him, he reminded me of the good times, and not the dark. He was... like...like family. I can't just let him go, even if he is a weird monster, or if he wants to kill us. We are friends, don't you realize that?"

"Yes, I understand the pain and how Felix meant so much to you.. but this is the best option. I know...you will lose him, but he is going crazy."

Letha's father unexpectedly chimed in on the conversation. "It's true, he may get even worse, and start to reach for us...it's best to be safe than sorry.."

Letha, amazed that her father finally agreed with her for the first time, let out a wide smile...and somehow changed her opinions about him. She gave him a hug, and Letha's father responded too. Alvira, however, was determined to do whatever it takes to get Felix on track.

"No, I need to save him. We have to try'' and Alvira walked towards Felix. Letha let out a heavy sigh, waiting for what's going to happen next.

Alvira grabbed Felix and took out his Japanese Oni mask, and rubbed the medicine on his face. The chemicals of the medicine reached deep inside and changed his DNA. In contrast, Felix began turning even more evil, and his eyes turned fiery red. Then it struck Alvira, that the medicine can cause serious infection, and sometimes even death. He started reaching for Alvira and Letha, then Letha's father pushed him off the cliff. "Noooo..." screamed Alvira. "I'm sorry.. but I had to say Letha's dad. He was about to kill you." Felix struggled to get up on the other side, and blood oozed out of his body. He started breathing heavily and he just laid there frozen and stationary. " Alvira gazed over at his dead body, and cried, so Letha sat down to comfort her. The girls thought that even though Felix turned evil they would always remember the good moments with their friend. Felix, will forever be in our minds. That my friend is what happened beyond the walls.
