Once I rounded up everyone Colette wanted to go on a run. We all agreed to and her friends that haven't shifted yet we're gonna ride on others backs. Valentine was gonna ride on Walker's, ever since we got back they instantly clicked and started talking, Valentine and her Wolf are attracted to him even if they don't know he is there mate. The same way it was with me and Grayson. And her friend Nick is riding on Shayne's back since she offered being nice.

We sent Grayson to get Aiden before we went on a run. Colette hasn't shifted yet but she will later so she is gonna ride on Aiden's back.

You shift at 12 so technically you shift the day after your birthday but that's how the moon goddess made it. Maybe I'll ask her about it when I meet her.

"They've been gone for a while. Do you think there ok?" Colette asks me in her quite voice full of worry.

"I'm sure they will be here any moment." I smile at her reassuringly. She nods her head but I can tell she is still worried. That iches my nerves and I get a little worried too.

Then we hear the door open and the boys walk out. Aiden quickly walks right up to Colette and pulls her in a tight hug in haling her sent. Calming himself.

Grayson comes up to me and hugs me too. He whispers in my ear.

"The Alpha wasn't as apologetic as we hoped. Aiden is just a bit frustrated. I had to calm him down before we came out here so he wouldn't scare Colette." Grayson explains.

I nod in understanding just half he's ok.

"Are you ready to go on the run?" He asks me with a mischievous smirk on his face. I smirk back at him and nod.

We all go behind some trees the mated obviously going behind them together. And strip and shift.

Issie rubs her snout against Grady and he does the same. They both lick each other's faces in delight. I can't hear what they are saying but me and Grayson know they are talking to each other.

They can do that, block out us just like we can block out them.

I see everyone start to run. Issie looks over smiling seeing Colette having the time of her life on Aiden's back. I'm happy she is having fun. Walker and Valentine seem to be having fun too. As do Alison and Scott. I feel Grayson nudge me so I look over at him.

He has a wolfie grin on his face. I grin back at him Issie having unblocked me. We decide to race, running faster than the others leaving them behind.

It was touch and go for a while, I would get in the lead, then Gray would. It was back an forth. But in the end I ended up winning.

Once we confirm we are way ahead of the others we shift back and cuddle on the grass naked. We are very exhausted, don't judge.

"You... I let you... win... bc I was... helping Aiden." Grayson breaths out as soon as we shift. Not giving himself time to catch his breath.

I just snuggle up to him closer shaking my head. He relaxes into my arms catching his breath.

We close our eyes and just lay there for a few minutes in each other's embrace.
