Since Kai knew how to get them out they decided to let him stay until they get out of the prison world.
Oren was just about to go to sleep when Kai walked in.
"Hi... Oren was it?" He asked.
"Yeah Oren Mikaelson" Oren corrected.
"I just wanted to say thank you again for what you did back there, I don't say thank you a lot so don't get used to it." Kai said.
"I won't don't worry" Oren smiled.
Kai almost walks out the door until...
"Your welcome by the way" came a soft, calm voice that was soothing for kai's ears.
Kai smiled and walked out.
The next day Damon had already started making pancakes.
"You know when you started making these pancakes in here they were terrible... but now there edible." Said Bonnie looking amused with the food. Damon just smiles and continues making the rest.
Oren walked in and sat down.
"Pancakes. Now." Said Oren slightly raising his voice.
"Someone's in a mood" Kai walked in and sat next to the Mikaelson."Hello again, Oren Mikaelson"
This just made Oren smile.
"So... today's the day where we get out of this hell hole" Kai said with the only smile on the table.
After an awkward silence at the table they finally set off.
"So..what exactly are we doing?" Asked Bonnie as she picked up the same newspaper thats been there for months.
"We're using this thing" Kai pulls out a mechanical device and wiggles it around in the air. "It's called an ascendent. When the celestial even happens we can do the spell and get out of here!"
"Oh my god" Bonnie says still looking at the paper.
"Yes Bon-Bon we know that's it's the 10th of may 1994 like all the other days.
"No this is different" she looked at Damon worried and sad "a massacre."
"A massacre?" Asked Damon
"A whole family all murdered by a relative."
Kai sighed.
"First of all.. I didn't kill all of them, my father is still alive and I took pity on one of my sisters and didn't kill her, just stabbed her in the guts with a hunting knife."
