Oren stared at the lifeless body and his throat became sore within a second. He knew that he was about to cry but he didn't know why. Instead of letting the tears roll down he kept them inside which made his throat even more sore.
"You sure we didn't need him?" Asked Damon.
"We don't need him.." Said Bonnie "But we need this" She pulled out the ascendent from the corpse's body and smiled. "Let's go home"
They walked inside the hole to find a hole in the roof.
"I'm guessing this is where we stand." Bonnie held up the ascendant and since the eclipse started a couple minutes ago, light came through the hole and landed on it. Click. It went as it started turning.
"Everyone hold on" she said while it started clicking even more. They all held on and we're smiling at the change to get home.
Click.Click.Click.Click.
"OW!" Bonnie grunted because she cut herself on the ascendent making her blood drop into it. This just made the ascendent spin even faster. "My blood... he needed bennet blood."
An arrow shot and landed in Bonnie's arm making her fall to the ground. Causing the ascendent drop to the floor.
"AH"
The next one was caught when it was aimed at Oren's forehead.
"Wow..." a familiar voice said.
It emerged from the shadows to show an unscathed Kai looking perfectly fine.
"How..." Bonnie startled.
"You really don't think I didn't try and kill myself?" Kai said. "I can't die here."
"None of us can..."
