Meeting The Guys

Ha. I still remember how Louis begged for me to come, but seeing as it was a guy's bonding thing, I couldn't come. And I completely understood. I mean, why would they want me around? I'm not nearly talented enough to even be considered in the same category as them in terms of music. Anyways, my biggest thing was, I really wanted to meet them. Especially Liam, seeing as I was a big fan of his since 2008. I was a little nervous to meet them, though. I mean, would it not be scary to meet 3 boys whom were famous? I did only say 3, because I had already kinda met Harry. I remember that day crystal clear, though...

~FlashBack~

"Are you nervous?" Louis asked me, his face mimicking shock. He knows I've been anxious about this all week.

"Well, a little bit, yeah! I mean, to you they seem normal, but they're all famous! I only slightly know Harry, and if known you since forever, so I don't find it fair that you expect me to be acting like this is an every day occurrence for me!" I say, trying to justify my jitters. We stayed silent of a minute, before I voiced my fear.

"What if they don't like me?" I asked, my voice almost trembling, head facing the floor.

"Hey, look at me," he said, lifting my chin so that I was looking him in the blue eyes.

"They will love you! You're wonderful! They would be crazy not to like you! Why do you always doubt yourself?" He asked, all humour drained from his expression.

"I.. I don't know. I mean, it keeps me humble and keeps my hopes from getting too high. I mean, when I was little, before my dad died, I expected everything to be handed to me, I never thought that I would have to work for it. But, once he did die, I realized that nothing is that easy. I had all these high hopes for my life, driven by princess movies and whatnot. I always imagined my father walking me down the aisle for my wedding. Always though he would be there. But, not everything always turns out how it should. I mean, sometimes I guess it's for the better, like meeting you and all, but I still hate being too hopeful, because that us when it hurts most when hopes get crushed," I seriously don't know why he had never asked this before, I mean, he knows about my self esteem issues. I guess he was always too caught up in comforting me to notice, or wonder. I look up at him voluntarily for the first time today. I see him tearing up a little bit. I mean, he knew about my dad and all, but I had never told him this. I had never told anyone.

He attacks me with a bone crushing hug. I let him, just to prevent him from causing a scene in front of the room where all the boys are.

"I really hope this works out," I sigh.

"What do you mean 'work out'?" He asks me.

"Shit, I didn't mean to say that out loud. Um, nothing."

"C'mon, Katie! I know you're hiding something from me! I'm the Tommo! You can't hide anything from me! Oh, do you have a little crush on someone in there???" He squeals in delight.

"Shut up, Louis," I mutter, earning me a glare.

"Who do you like?! Who? Oh! I sound like an owl! Who! Who!" This kid is off his rocker.

"Wait, quick question first. Do you know their eye colors?" I ask him.

"No, and quit stalling! Who?!" He asks again, becoming a little angry as this continues.

"OK, he has green eyes. That is all you're getting out of me!" I yell.

"Hazza! You like Haz! O my gosh, you two would be so cute together! Yay!" He shrieked, jumping up and down in excitement.

"Shut up Louis! The whole world does not need to know!" I hiss.

"Sorry. I'm just not allowed to butt in with Lottie's relationships, so you're all I've got," Lou said, his eyes sparkling just like when I first met him.

"OK, let's do this," I said shakily.

Louis opened the door with the worst possible opening sentence ever.

"Boys, this is my sister, Katie."
