Hi, it's the author. Well, this is my first time publishing something on Wattpad, and I thought I would leave a little author's note saying that it might not be so great, so please be warned.

I can't wait for them to be back. It's been so long. I can't believe this. He promised me that he would never leave. Not for this long. He told me that he would always be there. And now I haven't seen him since they began tour. Yes, I do mean tour. My best friend in the world is Louis Tomlinson. Yes, the one from One Direction. But I've known him longer than almost anyone. I'm the only friend he's kept for this long. 6 years old. That was when we met. I've gone with them on every other tour, but I couldn't for this one. I have work and school and so much, and I offered to take off, but Lou wouldn't have it. He cares too much about my new career. I'm starring in a new movie, Fair Trial. Not a huge deal, but he's always been protective, though. I remember when we first met...
*FlashBack*
I was about to turn 6 when I moved to Doncaster. I didn't know what was going on, except that I had to go to a brand new school and make all new friends. And I wasn't very good at that. I was dorky, and really small, so I was teased a lot. When we arrived at the house from leaving London, I ran into my room and took out my favorite barbie dolls and stared to play. By myself. Once I was finally getting used to my room, I was called into the front room by my mum. I ran down, a doll in each hand, asking why I was called. I saw that she was talking to a boy who looked to be about my age with pretty blue eyes. Once I spoke, his gaze landed on me his smiled brightened and his eyes sparkled even more.
"I didn't know that you had a kid, Mrs. Pretty! Is she my age?" He asked, jumping up and down.
"That depends. How old are you sweetheart?" My mum asked the boy.
"I'm turning 6 in December," He claimed proudly.
"Really? Because Katie is turning 6 next week!"
"Oh yeah! Mummy, who is going to come to my party? I don't have any friends here," I said with a slight frown on my face.
"Oh, I guess you just won't have a party this year. Or, we could invite your whole class and you could make new friends!" Mummy suggested.
"Couldn't I just invite the people I like? I could have until Wednesday to decide!" I said, quite proud of my idea.
"Okay. Hey, why don't you go play with this lovely young lad?" Mummy said.
"I would like to, but what if he doesn't want to?" I asked.
"I would love to! We don't have any kids in this neighborhood, except us, of course!" He said cheerily.
"Okay. Do you want to go play outside? I don't have any toys right now, because they're all in boxes," I said sheepishly.
"Oh, I know! We could go play at my house! I have lots of toys and games! And none of them are in boxes. Why is all of your stuff packed away?" He asked, his blues eyes full of confusion.
"We just moved here, and we had to pack all of our stuff and have big people move it over here for us," I said, not really sure if that was the right answer.
"That's so cool! I was born here. I live right next door!" He exclaimed. This kid was really loud.
"Okay! Mummy? Can we go play at his house? It's right next door!" I pleaded.
"Sure! I'll come over and meet his parents while you two play," Mother answered.
We ran all the way there, with Mummy trailing behind. Once we got there, the blue-eyed boy introduced us.
"Mum, Dad, this is Katie and her mother Mrs. Pretty."
After saying hello, we ran to his room to get his leggos, a ball, and a fake microphone.
"Careful! You couldv'e stepped on a leggo! Those hurt really bad!" He said, concern covering his face.
"I'm fine. I guess I wasn't looking. I'm sorry," I said, a few tears collecting in my eyes because it sounded like he was getting mad at me.
"It's okay. Hey, don't cry. I just wanted to make sure you didn't get hurt. I don't like it when my friends get hurt," He said sympathatically.
After that, we ran into the yard and made the coolest building ever out of leggos! It had 2 floors and windows on all sides. The door was yellow and we had plants in front of one of the windows with shutters on two others. One of them had an awning. The roof was red and had a chimney. Once we had finished, we spent the rest of the time singing into the microphone and playing catch. Once it was time to go, my mum wanted a picture. I held the ball while standing next to our house and the blue-eyed boy did the same while pretending to sing into the microphone. I thought it was really funny and started laughing really hard right when Mummy took the picture. I looked really silly. As we were leaving, I shouted to the boy.
"What's your name?"
"Louis!'
*FlashBack Over*
Hey, it's nameless author again. I just wanted to let you know that the next chapter will probably be really bad. And I also apologise for this being so short. I promise to make the next one longer. The picture is of the leggo house that they built.
