Third Person POV

Dream laid on his bed after getting off the vc with George on his merch discord.

He stares up at the ceiling thinking about the events that took place earlier. Thinking about the quiz.

Dream ponders about it more and chuckling a little bit at the results that he got.

'You're a little bit in love with your best friend'

Why was Dream even thinking about it? He knows that between him and George, it's all just platonic and joking around. It's just how they are. It's just how their friendship is.

Nothing goes beyond the fact that they are just friends and have no plans on dating.

Why did Dream even take the quiz in the first place? No one forced him to do it. (He can't blame Callahan on this one.)

After 5 more minutes, Dream decided to go on his phone for a bit. Maybe go on Twitter and see what's new.

...

Bad idea.

Most of his tl were a lot of people talking about him taking the 'Are you in love with your BFF' quiz.

Stupidly, he decided to read some of the tweets and now he's conflicted even more about what he feels about George.

He knew that there was some sort of feeling that wasn't just platonic, or friendship like, towards George, but he just pushed that thought aside thinking it was just nothing.

He turned off his phone and puts it back down beside him on the bed and as he did, he got a notification indicating that someone had messaged him.

He lifted his phone back up and saw that George messaged him. He clicked on the notification and read what George sent him;

George:
I had a lot of fun on the merch discord vc tonight! Goodnight Dream :]
Sent at 01:52

Dream couldn't help the small smile that appeared on his face. It's just a message saying that he had fun and saying goodnight, but it made Dream feel happy.

Dream:
I had a lot of fun too! I'll talk to you in the morning, yeah?

Dream:
Goodnight George :)
Sent at 01:55

Dream lets out a small breath as he puts his phone down again and stared up at the ceiling once again. He lifts his right hand up so that he can see it and just stares at it.

"I'm a little bit in love with my best friend.", Dream said to himself before laughing a little bit at the thought again, "Am I though?"

Dream lets his thoughts run wild again. Just letting himself think. Not pushing any thought away this time.

Dream thinks about the way George smiles when they are talking, the way George laughs at his jokes, the way George listens to *almost* everything that he says, just everything that George does.

Then he thinks about himself. What does he want with George? He wants to be able to hold George in his arms. He wants to be able to run his hand through George's hair. He wants to protect George with all of his being. He wants to show George affection and love and care. He wants to be with George.

"I want to be with George?", Dream asks himself, "I want to be with George. Ha I want to be with George."

Dream lowers his hand down and rests the back of his hand on his lips and he closes his eyes.

Maybe I am a little bit in love with my best friend, Was the last thought Dream had before falling asleep.

(Context: like 2 nights ago, Dream and George were on vc together in Dream's merch vc and Dream took a "Am I in love with my BFF" quiz and his results were that he was a little bit in love with his best friend and while answering the questions, he was.... sus)
